Your 2009 art looks like the kind of art that doesn’t look as great as your current pieces, but back in school all the kids were stunned at how good it was.
From this.....0:17 To this..........6:53 Remarin: "Everyone starts somewhere, and everyone has a different learning curve" *GOD THIS IS SO INSPIRATIONAL*
@@justynahaniecka3379 what would you achieve by having many likes? My most liked comment has 3.7k likes (still getting more) and my life didnt change at all...
i feel like everyone needs to turn their jealousy into a drive to get better. i am incredibly jealous of you. and im gonna use that to drive me further to draw more and more. thank you, this video is inspiring.
I feel the same way. Seeing these videos are both inspiring and discouraging. For awhile I always wanted to believe that anyone could learn to draw. But the more I see it it seems like you really do have to be born with something to comprehend what you're doing. The beginning art they do is different from the art that I started with. They experimented and eventually understood SOMETHING and just improved greatly from there. Maybe I'm really not cut out for it after all.
sprite cranberry yeah, same this is lowkey dismotivating for me since ive drawn abput everyday for 2 years, and still cant draw things like the first pictures. Makes me just lose hope tbh.
I normally stick with the same type of drawing style but seeing this made me think of different ways i could draw dragons (i normally draw at school too lmao)
Dragons and cats are my thing... and dinosaurs, if you know the bone structure of an animal it gets easier to draw. Oh and dude I subbed to your channel.
@@senorquack5182 i will never get over dragons an sometimes i like to draw my oc which is lynx/wolf/fox/human hybrid (name is Lynx xd) which is basically how i got my name lunx bc some1 acidentally typed it in the chat incorrectly on dragon sim (mah sis beca/bequa) an ty for da sub btw ^-^
absolutley amazing! I especially love to look at hoe you developed your style and how you became more certain in anatomy and all that. Also, I find it interesting how you would line your traditional work but do digital art without lines :D
Hahahh thank you! And yeah, I've by now probably lost the patience to actually line my traditional stuff properly :'0 painting digitally has become more and more fun over the past months!!
That’s how my art used to look like at the beginning. On their scale between their beginning middle and end. I’m mostly around the middle. I’m very proud of myself. At least I know what my drawings will look like in the future years. I’m sure I can make it happen. ♥️💕❤️ *Great* *Work* keep it up! 😊
them in 2008-2009 - wolves, dragons, etc. them in 2016 - nude art models. edit: ohmahgawd I published this comment yesterday and i'm already almost to 150 likes that's amazing!! edit dos: ohmahgawd 3 days later i look and theres almost 500 likes, this is amazing! tysm!
It's so beautiful, I even burst into tears. It's so interesting to look at the progress of a favorite artist, it makes me think that I can grow in the same way in drawing
Can I just say that I'm SO GLAD that I came across your channel? Your art is beautiful, and you're a major inspiration to me! Plus, you're a sweetie! It makes me smile and ooh and ahh whenever I see you videos! I may not be as good as you are currently, but like your video says, everyone starts somewhere. Seeing the beauty that artists like yourself display on their canvases makes me want to TRY! I have trouble with sadness and motivation, and your art is one of the things that helps me through it! Puts a spark in my eyes! Thank you for helping to fan the flames of creativity! I hope you have a Merry Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza/whatever else you celebrate! And a Happy New Year, haha!
I'm so grateful that I can help out in any way shape or form!!! Creating is such a journey of self-discovery, and you'll realize that whatever little thing you might do, see, or discover can lead to developing your skills in new ways,, even something as small as noticing how a bright green t-shirt might reflect a very subtle shade of green onto your hand when you put it real close,, or doodling with a pen because you simply don't like the way your pencil smudges, and after a while suddenly you notice that you've become way less dependant on an eraser. I hope you'll have some great holidays as well!!! ⛄️⛄️
Ahh your art is so good! I started drawing about... When I moved to Alaska. A girl in middle school inspired me to do art, so I tried to draw canines. They looked very messy and just looked bad. Then I stopped again. I would sometimes scribble or whatever, but my art wasn't as good as the girl I knew. I was a bit jealous. I finally moved away to Oregon where I started to draw again. I saved my money and got a cheap Huion 420 Tablet off Amazon (still works). I tried to take as many art classes I could in my first year of highschool. My canines are now Cartoony, I can't draw any bodies, only heads. I haven't been able to draw anything else. Eyes are hard for me, and ears and mouths are too. I recently watched your tutorial on how to draw wolves, It helped me with drawing! I am very happy you made that video! Thank you!
Paw Splash nobody sucks at art anybody that can draw a line on a piece of paper is a good artist and practice makes perfect. You are a wonderful artist don't down grade yourself with negativity tell yourself you're a great artist and keep doing what you love to do. 😊
Lil'wolf #immaskrillexfan I totally agree with you! I'm not that good, but I really love drawing and I don't care if someone dislike my art style. Your words are beautiful 😊.
Paw Splash well that ability doesn’t come from nowhere, you gotta imagine she drew like every day and did study pages etc. if you draw that much you of course improve at a faster rate
To put it bluntly A furry is a human/animal like person combined, most of them don’t even have human like structure, The point is their all amazing no matter what figure
I remember in 2019, I would dream of having your art ability and style. I would do everything I can to try to draw and shade like you and I even watched the wolf tutorial 6 times fully through, but what I was forgetting is it takes time and everyone has their own art style. I still want to be such an incredible artist like you, as you are my biggest inspiration, and I could post a whole video showing all of the artwork I had inspired off of you, but it’s truly a reality check seeing how you had to work to become amazing. I am not anywhere near your level of art, who says I will be, but I feel like saying that I’m so proud of you for coming so far into this art community and as a person! I would have never developed such an amazing art style without you, so thank you! The short film you posted put me in tears because you accomplished something huge. I hope to see some awesome speedpaints again soon, but if you know me, rewatching the old ones over and over again is plenty. I love your work!!
I've just come accross the works of an art prodigy. Remarin, I'm absolutely blown away. I am not sure I've ever come accross such an absolutely amazing art genius. I am at a loss of words to describe.
Me: Hey, this is actually pretty good! I'm kinda proud of my art! RU-vidr: so here's my progress from 2008-2016! Me: *snaps pencil* Me right now: *wondering why people actually like my dumb comment XD. Srsly tho thx for the likes*
This is EXTREMELY inspiring, like seriously, I’ve been watching timelapses of your art for a few years now and was absolutely blown away from each one, and seeing this video to see where you came from to where you are now is really interesting and really makes me want to start drawing on a daily basis now. (I used to draw on a daily basis when I was 10-11 but now I probably do it only a few times a month as a 17 year old lol). I really wanna start making more art in general as I want to develop a proper portfolio and would like to better understand my learning curve by having more work to demonstrate it, and honestly if I didn’t just watch this video I probably wouldn’t of realized that until much later on, so seriously thank you for making this and being a huge inspiration to other artists, this was super cool to see and I enjoyed it so much!
HOLY FUCK you went from like seventh grade drawings (no offense) in 2008-2009 to like frickin' pro drawings in 2010. HOW. It took me like four years to figure out how to draw a circle I'm so angry. (Btw you are an awesome artist)
I drew went i have 6-7 yr that take long to practice and now i have 13 years old. And if you want to see my art go one instagrame my name is dreamblue_wolf or for real animal is realanimal_draw. Draw is a passion in life ❤❤❤ is just keep up
Remain, you are the creator of my drawing style, inspiration, and creativity. Each time I have no idea what to do with my art, I watch this video. You inspire me so much to be creative and keep drawing. You have sparked so much creativity into me. I can’t thank you enough. I love your art so much! Your the person I look up to for inspiration to keep on drawing. Thank you so much 🥺😘
I find it difficult to come up with actual compositions like you do. I seem to be stuck drawing different things in the same pose and I really need to work on that. Thank you for inspiring me to do better :)
Don't worry, my sketchbooks and drawings are often littered with the same wolf-heads in the same angle, with the same snarling mouth, I picked out the drawings that looked interesting, but while looking through my collection of old art, there are tons and tons of paper with un-finished attempts, poses that didn't work, or drawings that I lost motivation on. I've gotten now into the habit of wanting to avoid "safe" poses and compositions if possible (there will still be days where I can't make it work and I'll go back to familiar poses) So getting out of your comfort zone is never as easy as it seems it should be,, don't be to hard on yourself :> as long as you draw smth, doing the same poses will still make you improve over long-term!
I can imagine this would happen in class :the teacher:okay class let’s tur-Brian are you doodling in class?! :Brian:yes :teacher:fine if you wanna doodle in my class then show the class what you doodled :brian:okay :shows pictures :teacher:...OKAY THEN KEEP DOODLING NEVER MIND
I get super nervous when I doodle in class because I don’t like people looking over my shoulder at what I’m doing oof, I’ve stopped doodling in school now because I really hate people looking haha
I love these drawings and all and the ones at the back are fantastic but, it’s the same thing over and over, personally as a sketcher I feel like it helps. Your drawings are amazing!!
YOU’RE TELLING ME THOSE DRAWINGS IN THE BEGINNING YOU WERE 10 AND 11 OMG, HOW!? AND IN 2010 YOU WE’RE MY AGE? THAT’S WAY BETTER THAN ME, TEACH ME YOUR WAYS!
If this isn't called training and effort for years and years, I don't know what it is. Congratulations, Remarin. You are an amazing artist. When I started drawing wolves many years ago, I always thought that they horrible. But when I saw your arts, they inspired me more and more to draw wolves, dragons and creatures with mixed species and I always thought "I can and I am able to draw them". I love your linearts, your design and creativity. How you build it all up.
Me: This is sooooo inspiring! I wanna draw now yeaaaayyy Another me: *questions my life purpose, have a strong urge to procrastinate, ultimately thinks of whether I'll survive or nah in this world full of extremely talented people while worrying about future career and stuff* uh yeah, y'know there's always next time. Let's read some blogs instead.
seeing your art is absolutely amazing. And bow getting to see you improve over the years is really really nice. going from somthing simple and not how should say, "perfect" To going through the years and getting better. improving at making your own style. and going into detailed drawing and characters is amazing. and absolutely beautiful to see. please keep up the amazing work and if possible keep improving. in the next couple of years I belive you can get even better then what you can do now~
This makes me believe that with effort and practise, you can always become better at drawing. However many times you say, “I’m bad at drawing!” Or, “I’ll never be a good artist!” If you keep drawing, you’ll get as you could ever be. I struggle with letting myself know that I’m still young and haven’t gotten as good as I can possibly be at the moment, but I know with every drawing I do, I’m improving my art style. I hope this motivates drawers like you reading this to keep drawing ^^
Ima be honest with ya' art is fucking hard. But never give up its just a skill anyone can pick up just like sports, singing and all the other sh!t. But just like anyother skill its gonna be hard. I'm sure you'll able to handle it.... maybe. But don't expect to much from yourself that's one mistake you'll regret doing.
No, it is not hard. Only those who are weak enough to give up. You can accomplish anything with patience, practice and focus. When a drawing doesn't come out the way you want it to, keep trying. Get a few sketchbooks to keep track of your art, and never stop practicing. If you get mad at yourself, calm down and try again. If there's one thing you'll regret doing, it's not trying again.
My eyes: Remarin is pro at drawing My brain: Eyes, same My heart: hey brain and eyes, i think the same I love your drawings Remarin!! Its really good atleast better than mine! 👍♥️
I’m so good at drawing on paper but my digital artwork is like 10 times worse than the art I do on paper ;-; every time I do digital art my fingers get sores because of the way I hold the stylus. My fingers always rub against the screen! One question, how old were you when you started really getting into drawing? I’m curious because I’m only 12 and you’re such a big inspiration to me! Keep up your amazing skill! I’ve been drawing for about 2 years now
hhhhhHHHHHHH this is reassuring!!! I love seeing progress pictures, its so cool!! It's interesting how big of a jump there was between 2008-9 and 2010! Some of those older pieces were pretty cool too :O (i can't wait to be able to paint things like you do!! I'm sure I'll get there someday, but damn your backgrounds are amazing, Idk how to do that yet haha. I love all your work!!)
Thank you!! And yeah 2010 was really a year where I drew like a maniac (young antisocial me who didn't know internet yet, and didn't have TV anymore,, simply didn't have anything else to do) And dude ,backgrounds were something I really was scared to attempt to do for years! For the majority of my early digital drawings, I simply used big textured brushes and made my backgrounds really dark. The transition from that, to trying to do backgrounds felt really awkward and oftentimes wasted effort,, but it's gotten better >:'I you sometimes just gotta battle your way through
I'm a 12 year old artist, or at least I call myself one, and a fan of you, Ive been drawing since 2015 and I gotta say, 100% honest, THIS VIDEO is what determines and inspires me most in my artistic life. Thank you... =,)
*sees in recommendations* *clicks* Oh It’ll probably start out like any artist is trashy to beautiful! *sees beginning years* HOLY SHI- Seriously though, I can’t even draw a eye that well 💖💖💖
I like to come back to this video every now and then to see how far someone can come. looking at the way you progress makes me realize that I am very far rn, and that maybe in 3 years I will have reached new levels I would never think possible
Did you take any classes or did you teach yourself through constant drawings? I've drawn since i was very little, and the only thing i can think of that someone taught me was how to shade correctly.
A Dragon Floaty I’m really late but one way is to observe how shadows work. I do cartoon realism so that’s different than full realism but I shade whenever there is an object that is above another object and I make it wider the more the first object in front extends.
I am so impressed by you Felicia! I just recently discovered your channel and this video realy inspired me to keep on practicing! Sorry if my grammar or spelling is`nt 100% correct. (English is not my first language).
For all you people who watches this video and envy this person’s skills, it’s not a goal you couldn’t achieve yourself. I too look at other artist who have done a lot more drawing than me and get envious, but that only encourages me to try harder to improve my current skills, you just have to be willing to put the time and effort into improving your art like this person has done.
Me: *watches the video and sees awesome art* Video: "got rid of the TV" No one: You: *starts to show us drawings which are even better then before you got rid of the TV (yes, that's possible)* Me: *starts to cry because I even draw horrible without having a TV*
This is really inspiring! I’ve been less and less encouraged to draw that much bc I feel like I’ll never be as good as everyone else. But now I know that everyone starts somewhere and I’ve just gotta keep practicing. Thank you so much for this!!
*READ THIS* If you think your art is not “good enough” you are *wrong*!! This did not happen in one day! It took years! Now look at your drawings, before and after, don’t you see they got better? *DON’T GIVE UP* This will not magically happen in one day! =)
Jenny and Kaylee Exactly, looking back at my old art, (even some dating back to when I was 4) I have improved a lot. I still need to work on my art, but I'm proud of it :)
