@@luxino3017 you replied 3 months after the original comment too you moron, a dime a dozen means something is of low value, which is why you can buy a dozen of it for a dime
Didn’t Jesus say in the Bible “By myself, I can do nothing”? So with him saying that, how can he get u thru anything? And this is in no way a shot at Jesus cause I believe in him, as a prophet and that’s all....
I used to work in a large school's NCAA compliance dept. It was a miserable experience but I got a good sense of how the NCAA works. My sense is that there's more to the Billy P. car issue than we know. I'm guessing the car title was registered to a booster. Just saying "we don't think the kid or his family could afford the car" doesn't take 67+ days. Just my $.02....thanks for another great video.
It was an Adidas rep. and BP’s selfish mother, not a booster or KU. The Adidas rep. testified under oath he gave them money and that KU knew nothing about it. He never played one second of eligible basketball for KU, only exhibition games, so that was good.
I pray that he makes it not only for himself but for his mom bc if she's anything like my mom was she loves him back more than anyone ever will on this earth.❤️🙏❤️🙏
Yeaaa it sound like a setup he had minor tire damage to car and they didn’t believe it was his car because of what . seem like a straight setup its like the person was exactly there to report the accident it’s weird
Why did you said IF... if the video clearly said he had no clue where he is? I mean IF he hit the lotto for 300 million.... If he discovered a cute for cancer... Like you just threw out a random IF
When they get older their kids are going to see this and make these individuals look like failures when they surpassed many who could not even make the varsity team or better yet, how far did you play Matt? So how do you measure success?
Should have waited out the ncaa ruling for his freshman year and entered the draft for the next year he would have been a first rounder even if he didn’t play a single game his freshman year, someone would have taken a chance on him
I jus hooped with him yesterday out here in LA @ The 24Hour Fitness on Slauson Blvd! Didn't know who he was until the homie said his name! Now I'm going into a rabbit hole! dawg was ballin yesterday!💯💯💯
Thankfully starting from 2023 these NCAA nightmare will be over. These kids can be drafted outta high school just like Kobe, LeBron, Garnet etc were drafted
The Statement said KU wanted a "clearer financial picture" and sent their findings to the NCAA. Sounds to me like they were just as complicit as the NCAA.
He had a string of bad luck. But after that accident, it seemed as if luck wasn't on his side. In my opinion, he should have waited it out for the NCAA decision, and then entered the NBA Draft. Someone would have taken him in the first round. You set yourself up for failure if you hop around from league to league. It's rare that anyone bounces back after that. I wish him well, because he seems like a good kid and had skills.
@@dripdownsxz2752 I’m so serious when he was with the cavs g-league team my guy Tyrius Walker was trying out and Billy Preston was taking terrible shots, he couldn’t beat no defender off the dribble for nothing and the worst part was in the 2v2 he was not passing at all...just throwing shit up at the rim.
I knew he was coming, when do we get a positive story of guy who overcame the odds like Carrusso for the Lakers or big Woods. It is only 400 jobs and only a very few every year. So, odds are these guys are not going to make it more so than they are.
I'm a firm believer that in order to improve as a young player you need to go to a school that requires you to do more for the teams success. If you look at the NBA the majority of players come from schools who aren't basketball powers. Another thing is if you are a undrafted free agent choose a team known for developing players. One team that comes to mine is the Spurs, if you don't fit their culture both on and off the court they get rid of you so the agent should one try to get them on that team and second have a long talk with them about if they aren't committed to getting better this team will expose th e m.
He was born in 1997 and he was class of 2017? He was supposed to be class of 2015 if he was born in 1997. My sister was born in 1996 and she was class of 2014.
@Damon Hill youre right, if he was born late 97, he should have graduated in the summer of 2016, which would be on time, that would make him 18, but him reclassifying as 2017 would have made him 19 when he graduated. for whatever reason, you see a lot of high school ball players do this, reclassifying a year later.
He wanted play for Enfield. That last OV we locked him up but his grades were questionable from what was rumored. His mom wanted SC for academics but it was obvious why Kansas ended up swoopin him up when details about the car accident was news. Damn we had a squad ready for Preston to jump in and be the star that year. JMac! Boatwright! Metu! Stewart! We missed out on Stanley Johnson and then Preston but we had Preston locked at the end. Self gave him something.
I presume the car issue didn’t allow him to come back for his sophomore season. Because ya know some kids need a few years before going in to the draft. There’s 20+ 5 stars per year and many of them don’t get drafted.
Should have stayed at Kansas and sat out the year. He should have returned for his sophomore year at Kansas. Then he would have been a lottery pick and an NBA player by now.
That's what he should have done. Unfortunately, these kids get in too big of a hurry and make decisions that impact their life for years to come. I'm referring to leaving KU instead of just waiting it out.
It's amazing how much this guy looks like Lenny Cooke and has a similar story. This looks like a classic case of a guy that dominated in high school because of his size and then was just average at the pro level where everyone else is just as big and stronger.
The biggest "What If's" in basketball history are Ronnie Fields and Lenny Cooke. There are reasons BP went to 5 different HS and left multiple teams after just a few games/weeks, and it wasn't because of talent.
@@Monkeyboi4567 Ronnie Fields: Was Kevin Garnett 's teammate in HS, was a HS All American, he played pickup ball against MJ when he was making his return and even MJ said he was a monster. Probably the most vicious and athletic guard in the 90's. Got in a car accident and broke a bone in his neck. Missed his Sr year, then got in trouble, then failed to qualify academically for college and never recovered from everything. Lenny Cooke was a 6-8 forward who dominated LeBron at the ABCD camp (winning camp MVP) and had every major college drooling. He could score like Melo, handle like a guard and was a bulldog on D. He transferred to a school in Jersey as a Sr but Jersey state rules deemed him ineligible cuz he turned 19 before the season started. He never played his Sr year, disappeared, and was heading to St John's. Didn't qualify, entered the draft and was with Seattle for a bit. Then he fell into the streets and became nothing. Both these guys have docs about them. Schea Cotton is another one. He has a doc called Man Child on Amazon. Another otherworldly phenom in the 90's who was All everything, then hit eligibility issues, mixed up with the wrong inner circle and faded into non existence.
@@Monkeyboi4567 As for BP, same kinda thing. Mixed up with the wrong people in his ear. Bad advice. The Adidas scandal. Always moving around but it was always "everyone else". The kids who have people blaming everyone else, chirping in kid's ears and guiding them incorrectly. From everything I heard overseas, he didn't have the right attitude all around, putting in the work and expecting to just be handed the ball and be a star.
Usually, when you hear a player is involved in a scandal of a minor nature that leads to a large investigation,it usually has scenarios related to taking gifts from The League and)or driving under the influence and hence the results, etc MrNesley J Louis
He plays for the Cape Town Tigers and the man's on fire he recently dropped like 25+ points The tigers are playing in the BAL and with him they stand a chance to win it
houston rockets should pick him up. they need a young power forward. they need all the help they can get. on a struggling team like the rockets, he could make a real contribution, which would help him develop mentally as a player, rediscover his worth, so to speak.
Stay in school transfer college stay in for another year or two ... go into the NBA after ..... easy as that but nah ya expect way to much as college athletes 🥱 wanna get paid right away rather than cherishing the moment man this a once in a life time experience ya are blessed with any regular college student would trade there life for that experience 😐😐
Do jalen Green the one who dunks but he’s 6ft K forgot his first name but it’s not Jalen in the G-League . He was explosive asf plz someone back me up who I’m talking about !!
