Bruh when he’d switch between hot shoes at the time (Like Pink Foams or Cool Greys) between the games that shit was SO fire! I thought bruh was gonna be a legend
He had grade issues since his freshman year at Providence, I coached at a high school in the same city. It’s the reason why he only played a handful of games his sophomore year he was ineligible and that why he transferred 3 times.
I am a relative of his and he decided to go overseas because the NBA was a long shot, but currently still fighting to get in the NBA. Thank you for this video. My family usually don’t get this type of recognition so again thank you
hope he makes it! other guys around his timeline got at least a chance in the league so I don't see why not. I'd take him on the 76ers! 💪🏻 but if you keep touch with him I hope he keeps his head up cuz u never know. Guys like Mike James for example went undrafted, grinded for 5 years, got a shot, had to go back to Euro leagues, and made it back for the Nets in the playoffs! So as long as he is healthy and enjoying it I hope he keeps going.
Why didn't he go back to college and finish? He had two years remaining of eligibility left to improve his draft stock, right? There's something else I don't understand why bypass the NBA draft? If he doesn't get selected he can always go overseas.
@@buzzerbeater3350 Well actually he plays overseas in Serbia. Honestly it’s politics man. They draft who they want. He’s rich now so basically he said fuck the NBA. And he did finish school. Just decided to pursue his education first, then worry about ball.
Your vids are proof...that jordan will never be the best ever...there's alteast 50 Michael jordans, and lebron's that never made it out of highschool....
I played against this guy in the 2012 summer and his footwork was by far the most impressive trait. He could shoot from anywhere and got to the basket more than anyone I ever played against. I didn't make the mixtape but he gave me a healthy 22 before my coach switched me.
Can you do a video on Ronnie Fields. He’s from Chicago. He played 1 season with Kevin Garnett before Garnett turned professional. He dominated all 4 years of high school but never made it to the league.
It would be great if you did a video on Darius Washington. Dude used to have NBA scouts at all of his games. He attended Edgewater High here in Orlando. His high school has a day named after him. Sebastian Telfair were also in that class. They played each other in a game so legendary Jay Z had to go but 2 free throws changed everything.
Good video. I thought you was gonna say some cap stuff about my brother. Everything was pretty much accurate except for his first year at St Johns. He didn’t play because he didn’t have credits he actually got hurt in a scrimmage.
Could you do one on steven adams from New Zealand and his underdog story I feel like it would for real inspire alot of people from all walks of life bless up and keep up the good work g
Man Matt he was a beast even at 10-12yrs. I got see him for 2 yrs with a AAU team awesome kid and great work ethic. Great video bro I always wonder what happened to him.
If anybody know him he is a great person pasadena kid but his dad kinda reminds you of lavar ball can't let go.How do you question a sharp shooter like Coach Mullen. His dad coached at this little park in pasadena for years. The kid is well trained always the littlest 1 make you saw ahhh. But you have to let go sometimes.Vett is a good pops know him well but stubborn and wasn't going to let anyone still his credit for what he manifested. He moved him around high schools frequently for one reason or another. If he would have left him with Coach Mullens the full 4 years we would be seeing this kid in the NBA but Dad made all decisions.Hopefully he will come in the long route peace..
I said this once and i’ll say it again and i don’t like that you make it seem like all these players are less than what they were cause of the path God said was best for them! i think the updates on their careers are cool but don’t make it seem like anything less than the NBA is a failure that’s just negative and pessimistic
It’s crazy i used to watch his mixtapes when i was in 6th grade getting me hyped before games now I’m 20 and don’t even play basketball anymore living the adult life
This video had a happier ending than I was expecting. Instead of joining the league, having to deal with all the celebrity bullshit, and probably have to take PEDs to keep up, he decided to play the game he loves, have fun and travel the world. Smart move imo, but it depends on the person really.
Smart man 👊he decided to go get paid. More players would stay if NCAA would pay the players. Overseas will start you off $100,00 or more for a 6-7 month spand. Basically you have to be good with being alone & very mature mentally.
I used to argue with niggas all the time about this guy . I’d say look at his highlight tapes he plays against nothing but scrubs I said I bet he don’t make it to the league and they would just say I’m a hater ... but Obviously niggas just be casual RU-vid mixtape watchers . Not really hoopers
Please stop saying "with that being said" you don't need to say that, people know where you're going, you have good pace in your narration ... just saying
I remember this kid, he was a beast 5-6 years ago. I didn’t know all this shit happened to him, man, talk about bad luck. He was a ball is life legend. Edit: 8 years ago wow
He had horrible grades in high school and he took classes with no other students to "catch up" lol he should have never been in college. Oh and he was never gonna be in NBA. When you go to a new school every year since 7th grade it shows problems
@@constancechaplin733the business of basketball is a machine, the amount of players far exceed the number of spots... Rankings are decided by people who have seen you play... not by how good you really are... you have to be liked and compatible with coaches and scouts, and the older you get you are tossed out for the young hot thing... I've seen it time and time again...
Nobody has the “best handles in the world” lmao. There’s no test. It’s a matter of OPINION. So, don’t state it like it’s facts. Dude you be saying shit in every video, claim in to be fact, and it’s just your opinion. Sheesh.
Could you do wnba draft picks kysre gonderick, charli collier, awak kuier and Dana evans. Specifically the surprise of how early kysre was picked and how Dana evans fell on the draft board.
Wrong school(College) & wasn't a great shooter. Should've went to Illinois, H.S & College is totally different though. By the way I'm from Illinois & I love his game FRFR! 💪🖤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
He was 5 feet 11 inches ANd averaging 17 point in college. Compare his numbers to Kyrie and Steph, no I don't think he was going to make it to the NBA. iF SO he was going to be a very, very low draft pick. He was good but not NBA good there is a difference!!
So many players who dominated at high school think they are pro ready leave early and just aren't as good as they think. They lose any structure in their lives and are on their own. When more players leave early than there are draft spots you know there are too many people thinking they're going to make the NBA. There are very very few who think oh I'll go play in the Australian League and that will be a good. All these guys went to go to the NBA but there are only a few spots open. So many people get some really bad advice and some just have two big egos and can't see how others see them.
It's crazy because I went to new mexico highlands university which was a NCAA D2. My freshman year i was ineligible because I had 13.5 core unit classes and you needed 14. My physical science class did NOT COUNT my senior year of high school, but counted for all my former high school classmates who were juniors going to play college sport the following year. smh
I remember watching his hoop mixtape on the way to hoop sessions and shit in high school. Nigga was a walking bucket and clean ass handles. Thought he was next up fr
