In this video I try to build a Victorinox Venture compatible ratchet that costs less than $ 3.

Lol. That's prototyping for you. How boring would it be if everything we did worked right the first time? Great job Felix.
@diverson63
I love that you are willing to show that you are like the rest of use. We all expect our best planned projects to work out but sometimes go a totally different way. It was a experiment.
@Trad.
I don't get why people find venture videos super boring. They are fun to watch and still teach things that you could do with other tools (adding a sharpener on a sheath for example).
@mantafahrer5346
So boring! When will the cool videos like before come out? Victorinox Venture = Riding a Dead Horse to Laramie.
@nauticalknotcraft
All part of the learning curve. Well done Felix. Someone said, there are no mistakes, only happy accidents. Thanks.
@jimcooper4578
i dont know about where you live felix but here in the states you can buy hexagon stock cheap so you would not have to cannibalize your drill bits or hexagon wrenches are cheap too. and maybe try some jb weld in the hole to lock it in place. and if that works you could probably cut off those protruding sides to make it more compact as well.
@John..18
Great video Felix,, as a wise man once said, there's no such thing as failure, it's just a stepping stone in the learning process,, 👍👍👍,, all the best my friend,,
@MartinAhlman
A failure is one step closer to perfection, my friend.
@krazmokramer
$h!t happens Felix. Thanks for showing the fail anyway. This project seemed questionable from the start. $40-$60 is a lot for that Leatherman ratchet. But your time and materials are also worth a great amount. Combined with how cool that Victorinox ratchet is, this could have been a 3 minute video! Buy this knife, and buy this ratchet to use with this knife. End of story!! THANK YOU, FELIX!
@christophersherratt7299
Felix did you know that IKEA USUALLY GIVE A SMALLER RATCHET IN THERE UNITS THAT THEY SELL YOU JUST TURN IT OVER TO GO OTHER DIRECTION
@arcanavoresmanavault2637
This has to be my favorite video of your because you show the process, are honest and speak plainly. Keep living the dream! See you next Friday!
@SuperKlaus74
Ach lieber Felix das macht dich so sympathisch das auch bei dir etwas nicht funktioniert aber trotzdem ein sehr lehrreiches Video du bist und bleibst der beste ❤❤❤❤
@BeercanBushcraft
I was expecting you to drill a hole through the bit and peg it in! Never mind . Nice project.
@richardmacyczko1580
Thank you for showing the process. And as in all experiments you keep going. You are not afraid to show something that didn't work, YET. You only fail if you give up. And the Felix I know has never done that. Respect from your fiends in Florida USA
@yelnats61
Best videos! You have a great personality. Pleasure to watch even a fail.
@SpartanJohns
I enjoyed the video and thought it was really nice of you to show how it failed. This is why I showed my fails on video so many times. Some people who watch youtube videos get demotivated seeing that they can't do it on the first try and somehow it always works "for the guy on the screen"(and his editing team) 🤣
@robthompson1399
Great job, we learn more from a loss than we do from a win !
@Aco747lyte
That's such a brilliant tip that I've already set up my workshop for tomorrow. Initially I was doubtful of Victorinox' Venture, but I bought one and it's been wonderful + I've long learnt
@alexguigui1877
Talking about the Victorinox ratchet that you show at the end. I have it since 2013. I used it as hard as any other high quality ratchet that i owned.
