@@sarat8577 - Actually the recycling process is a lot less wasteful than using virgin PET to make fiber, which starts from petroleum. This starts the process farther down the line, with already manufactured PET. This process knits to shapes and saves all the cut and sew post production waste - that's a lot. There is no perfect zero carbon footprint. Even Allbirds who uses wool and viscose has detractors from PETA, to environmentalists who despise the rayon making process. We have to wears something. Why not look good being conscious of what we buy? :)
They're extremely comfy, my teacher (band director, always on her feet) and I are literally addicted to them. The idea of it is also to buy less pairs that are high quality statement items.
Unfortunately, not all of us can afford or choose to afford fast fashion. And that’s the reason fast fashion will continue to grow. I can buy 3-5 cheap shoes for the price on 1 pair of Rothy’s (MSRP $155). Are they as comfortable? Prob not. Are they as cute? That depends. Were they trendy? Absolutely. Are they Green or ethically produced? Very likely not. But I can buy a lot more styles/options of fast fashion crap
I have a pair of these flats in forest green color and they are the most comfortable flats I've ever worn. Normally I need to have a strap around my ankle to keep flats on, but these mold to my feet well and look awesome. They are worth the price because they're built to last, comfortable and look great on my feet. I highly recommend them!
Very interesting!I would love to learn.is there any school where we can learn how this works.or is your company@Rothys open to take interns. We have lots of plastic bottles clogging our waterways here in Nigeria and I will be able to put that to good use
They might be practical. But this *"feministic looking"* range of basic flat shoes sure aren't attractive, or feminine in any way. Just boring, and ugly, even for older women. Horrible.
