You read my thoughts, lol! When watching this video, exactly West Africa came to my mind, where they burn plastic waste in some countries in order to get the reliable pavement products. The result is good, but the process looks quite harmful to the workers involved. And I also thought about Nigeria, which doesn't use any sort of such technologies yet. I really wish the author of this video could share his experience with his African fellows.

That's not how plastic recycling works, you are being deceptive. First off you cannot mix different types of plastic, recyclable and non recyclable, trash bags, HDPE, I think I saw some expanded polystyrene in there, and I'm positive I saw some corn based Plastics in there. most importantly once plastic has been exposed to Too Much UV radiation i e from floating in the river or an ocean exposed to sunlight, it will not recycle. what you are obviously doing is purchasing shredded HDPE and converting it into Paving tiles. most likely what you're purchasing is rejects from a plastic factory that have not even been put into production yet. Your shred, to me, looks suspiciously like shredded milk jugs. Not one tide container or corn-based food container, or plastic trash bag in the bunch. They're definitely aren't even any mixed colors in there. What you're doing is a con. I wouldn't be so angry except for somebody share this video with me and suggested that I build them a plastic recycling system to recycle ocean trash. I told them this was impossible and they showed me your video. Your stupid video is promoting ignorance around the world. Please take this video down, Or I will expose your con to the world.

I really hope someone sees this and helps to fund more manufacturing equipment and finds a wide distribution network for commercial and consumers sales. This is a great way to recycle types of plastic that can not be recycled in the traditional way or has been recycled too many times. PVC for example can only be recycled 7 times before it is no longer able to be used for windows, siding or the like. This product is great for such plastics. Here in the US these types of plastics are made into composite decking, fences, screens, playground equipment and other items. Bravo.

I think his concept is to get the plastic before it enters the rivers and sea while it has value for recycling. Since China has stopped importing the world waste plastic countries are now burying it in landfills, ideas like this that use any waste plastic are fantastic for the planet and all countries should be doing it!

Brilliant! Just one suggestion. To make the tiles hexagonal, so that the unevenness of the surface it will be laid on will matter less. Also, maybe the tiles can be smaller, and attached to each other on a grid. This will allow the tile to be rolled out onto the surface, for easier installation

concrete is already heating the planet covering big areas (roads) in the cities around the world. forbidding the planet to breathe !! it is understandable that plastic can help heat homes in Russia in winter but to consider it on a massive scale for roads and large projects will increase natural disasters !! earth breathes !! even sand even clay !! when the sun hits .. the excess water evaporates and the planet breathe. The plastic is not a bad idea but for a road or road side. the molds should have holes in them !!

You can make mud flaps for semi trucks and non slip grates for cattle/livestock floor work facilities.

Thanks for doing your part to clean the environment. Plastic deserves to step on it and not to use it on our dinning table.wish the machine was portable , easy to use so every country to do it's part.

Back ground music should be avoided in all technical and important issues it will distract the attention, how sweet it may be.Nice work.

Hello from less than one hour from Washington DC. Irregardless of what is in the US news story about Russia you are doing something to bring people together all over the world! Like someone else mentioned I wish that I could have heard you more than a background music bed, but I figure that you're trying to get folks to see the video & if it's a popular song it's probably easier. Your shop has cluttered look to work in, but it seems to be working fine for you. Very interesting that you put sand and color in the mix. Your machines look different than what I have seen in so much of Precious Plastic videos, but whatever gets the job done!

Excellent, I've been thinking about this as a business idea I never knew it was already being done so that I guess proves the concept is viable already.. thanks!

You need praise for your work. It is obvious you are working on a very tight budget. However you need to give attention to details. You need to have a layout that is as good as a show piece. Use the very plastic tiles of attractive colours for the floors as well as the walls. Do a design or plan of the factory. Start with delivery area for the raw material then the extruder followed by press etc. Your vision to spread the technology to all the parts of the world is commendable. Precisely for this reason build a system that you can export to the world at an economical price. Please do not feel offended. You have a grand idea that is meritorious. God bless you.

Awesome video! Better than cement because not depleting natural resources! Just re-using what you already made. Very nice product! Can also be made in to planks instead of using lumber!

Interesting demonstration. I'm acquainted with a similar process concerning polymers (HDPE, mainly) and dried ground up saw dust (with less than ten percent water, by weight?), up to about thirty percent wood (?)....the items were extruded into sawable and nailable planks and so on that might be used in exterior window sashes and the like. And they might be painted too.

It is pleasing to see SOMEBODY trying to make a good difference where few seem to care. If you can make some money doing it, so much the better. It looks like you could benefit from a larger hopper on your extruder. If it becomes more difficult to load the hopper, a ladder or belt elevator will help if you can make or buy one. Good luck with your efforts, and God bless you.

I would have liked to see the tiles being dropped or other methods of destruction and see the force it would take to harm the tile. I think this would show how valuable a solution this method is. However, if we could do more of this kind of recycling and the amount of color one could create would make these a value to home building inside and out.
