From Box to Artificial Rock 

I agree with many of the posters....some details about materials and techniques would be great

I have been making artificial rocks for pools and caves for about 2 decades now. This video was cool to watch. The funny part was all the guys it took for one rock.

So simple, all you need is 4-5 people and as many sets of heavy duty gloves, multitudinous spray bottles, 3,247 lumps of turds, a shop you can absolutely demolish while you spray paint from a distance of 6-7 feet. Great.

What kind of top coat did use use and the cement did it have styrofoam mixed in with it I'm just asking because I'm in the process of trying to make one so I would just like to know of possible what kind were they and if there was styrofoam mixed because I seen an another video the guy had styrofoam mixed with the cement and what does that do exactly. What did you use for the hard shell and what kind of paint????

Yes but think about this process for what would be a large 500 lb rock? That'd be expensive and you'd need heavy equipment to move it. This is where this idea could really pay off.

online an artificial rock this size would be $100+. honestly id rather go find a rock outside and deal with the hassle
