Funny this video came out today. My husband just lost his job today after working for this company for 19 years. He has always been their number 1 sales person, building Pole Barns. Unfortunately but fortunately they got rid of his division so they let him go. However we both feel this is a blessing as he has not been happy in the direction the company is moving in. We both know God will open the door that will work for him. He always does. God is good. So for now he will collect unemployment, get his resume together and will look for his next journey. Thank you for sharing your story, I am so glad I came across your channel. Love following you, your family and the fire ants. That had me laughing so hard I was crying. My husband and I have been married 28 years. We been through so many hard times. Finally next month we will be moving into our first bought home. A small house on a acre of land. I can have a huge garden and my chickens. God is Good.

You all are so inspiring. When I got married 10 years ago, we had no idea the troubles we would be foinf through. Between a very premature baby, to the sudden death of my brother, to dealing with cancer and then being the caretakers for my grandpa untill he passed, we still struggle financially, but we have our love, our family, and our faith. I hope to one day be back at my old homeplace, and make it our home and farm, but for now we are living in the city in our home, with my little garden, raising 2 beautiful girls.

That was a great story, I am now 71 but if I were younger I would do things a lot differently I think it would have saved my marriage and built a stronger family bond. Congulations for working your way up.

Many people go through circumstances where the outcome can't be controlled (i.e.: getting fired or layed off). It's how you pick yourself up, and start over again that makes the difference. We learn from our past experiences. Y'all landed on your feet, and thats a good thing. I had a similar situation in my first marriage with work, and my husband. I've learned to make sure we always have security for our family financially. Always have an emergency fund of at least 6 months to 1 year income in the bank, no debit (credit card), and food stored because now a days there is no job security. You can be dedicated to the job, work for 20 or 30 years and in a heart beat be unemployed.

If I had given up when raising my 4 kids with a dead beat dad, I would have had to give up my kids. But giving up was not for me . Struggles make us stronger people. Love your story guys.

I homeschooled my son from the beginning all the way through. He is now 18. It was a success! We sacrificed everything in order to do that and have me home with him. I too worked as a CNA beforehand. We lived with a dry well etc. Our stories are very similar! Looking back I wouldn't do anything different! Blessings to both of you!!!

I love that you decided to be a stay at home mom. I did it back in the early 70’s. And I am now 68. And I have never regretted it. Neither have my kids.

Today I rejoice in my 8 year anniversary of coming back to my faith and falling in love with God. 7 years ago, the bottom fell out in my world and I ended up stuck with 11 months of a lease and no roommates with a part time job while I went to night school. I got a pay or evict probably 8 of those months and watched God show up every time as only He can. God bless you two

We moved across the country for 10mo chasing the dream, but the dream was realized differently. It was alot of sacrifice but the reward was worth it.

You two always amaze me. You are so young but so much wiser then the majority of kids your age. In the world we live in now a days thirty some year olds act more like 16 year olds. You also seem to be teaching your kids the same values. Your parents should be so proud of you both. I know this old 67 year old grandmother would be.

This is one of the many reasons why I love y'all's channel is because y'all share your ups and downs and that y'all are just like anybody else that has struggled and has succeeded in life... And believe me I know all about it I have been homeless I've been evicted I've lived with the power water etc it was always me and my mom no fault of her own we lived off of my disability and it only go so far but God heard my prayers and I was finally able to buy home and my mom got to enjoy this house for a couple years before she passed which was a couple months ago!! And if anybody else is reading this if you're struggling there's always a light at the end of the tunnel just keep praying an One foot in front of the other 👣✝️📖🛐

Amen,Amen and Amen! Without a struggle what would life be. It makes us appreciate things that we have so much more by struggling a little for them. It's so sad in this world that we live in today that this lesson is not taking to heart by so many. Without a dought it's great to see a man stand by his wife and see that her desire to be a stay at home Mom come true. And for a woman to stand by her husband and support him and hold him up in times of hardship. A blessed family for sure. Thanks for sharing your story it sure did my heart and spirit good today!

So well told...i too have had a hard time through my life, but every sacrifice for my kids has been worth it...and they are wonderful Christian married adults who are very grateful for all of their own successes(in other words, they aren’t spoiled lol). I say it every time, but you two are so special...thanks for sharing your story and also giving God praise. I know I could’ve never raised my kids as a mostly single mom without Jesus. I’ve been happily remarried to a wonderful man who was an army sweetheart of mine when we served together. We are living the dream...sharing the joy of 8 grandkids!🥰 We give God all the glory! My husband and I have been there too….we had weeks where we had less than $10 for the week to pay for gas and food…my garden and my canning saved us many a time in those days! Things are better these days for my family but we never forget where we came from for sure! Thanks for sharing! God bless you guys…love ya🙏🏻💖

So many of us have gone through struggles such as yours. We’re older than you folks and we didn’t finally get our life on track (financially) until about 7-1/2 years ago. It’s such a blessing to actually not have to worry from one day to the next. We are very blessed!

I've been so far down I lived in my car (before it was a cool thing to do!) to being a land owner. The hard days have left many fond memories while my boys were younger. Now we're able to help if necessary, we've opened our home to son and his two daughters, and we're across the cou try from all our family (we're in KY from AZ). Of most things, I love having a car that is reliable instead of working home health and requesting clientsmon the bus line!

How sweet! We have been and are living in a camper right now, with no heat or AC. We have running water, but no "plumbing". We use an outhouse. It is hot in here right now, but it is exciting as we work and progress on our log cabin daily, in between all that life throws at cha'. God is good; and we wouldn't be able to do this, if not by His providence. Just need to keep the faith. Thank you for sharing your story.

I love that you guys are such a close family & are teaching the kids everything about the farm & animals. You are one of my favorite channels. I may be late getting here but I always make it. I admire the two of you so much & would love to have a small farm...(nothing at all like as many animals as you have) But would love to have chickens, a milk cow, calf & rabbits.
