Am I the only one interested in Kuro making collabs with external artists like they did with D.K.? Seeing other types of designs being introduced in the game truly introduces a breath of fresh air

I look forward to Kuro collabing with a korean cyberpunk artist Gharliera. Ya'll should definitely check out his artwork. It definitely fits the sci-fi aesthetics.

I’d love to see it too. This actually one of the things I like about FGO. They have their main art team, but they regularly reach out to other artists with different styles for Servant art. Honestly Yinlin in Wuthering gives me some Iida Pochi vibes (vtuber, 2-hit mother, etc.), but it could just be the white pupils. I do hope for pgr and/or wuthering they reach out every so often to other artists.

I love D.K.'s responses. There's this sweet and earnest nature to them that only makes me like D.K. even more. Also, I'm surprised that Bambinata was going to resemble Liv, somewhat. I wonder if they'll make a coating for Bambinata that depicts that early concept for her in the future?

Kuro Games pulling each and every classic of JRPG trends is appreciable to see like Nier, DMC, MGR, etc.

those aren't really classic JRPGs though. Classic would be games like Secrets of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Phantasy Star, Star Ocean, Dragon Quest... and the obvious giants that managed to reach global fame like Final Fantasy, SMT, Persona. The Nier series, DMC, MGR are all action RPGs, more so than classic JRPGs. Not that this is a bad thing, just pointing out the inaccuracy. I like that Kuro's taking in inspiration from these sort of games, compared to Hoyo taking inspiration from Zelda (in Genshin) and the Trails series (in HSR). Just to be clear, I fucking hate tribalists, just, give props to gaming companies where its due. Appreciate the things that you enjoy and leave silly fandom wars behind. Video games are cool and I think people who are only able to either love or hate certain things (without anything in-between) are fundamentally unhealthy in mindset.

I think Nier, DMC, MGR and even newer FF is considered a post-modern JRPG which is resembled by the Hack & Slash combat for the trait but I get your point

I wish the best for D.K in life, this guy literally made my most favorite characters in my gaming career. NieR characters and now PGR, I hope that Kuro asks him for more characters in the future patches or even for wuthering waves characters.

I like when different kinds of art are used in a game, it helps you to connect with the character, they called me crazy for not rolling for lucia plume and going for SS bambi

The correct way to play PGR is whatever way lets you have the most fun! As long as you've got enough information to make an informed decision, it doesn't matter who you do or don't pull for. Glad you're having fun with Bambinata 💕

@@GrayRavenRadio my waidu is qu, it eill take a fairly long time but i can make things with bambi still, as ayla aproaches and i have wanshi, i will have kind of a good thing going, if really needed i can just roll chrome glory, i just dont like lucia plume at all

Everytime i see an art from DK on their twitter, nier replicant's peaceful and sad music plays in my head. I feel like no one would've done a better good job than dk to capture the complex emotions and lore of nier replicant. To have such a talented artist that are admired by big names like Yoko taro to work on pgr is just a blessing

This is truly awesome to see and makes me wonder what pgr could introduce in the future in terms of collabs (post BRS i mean). Bambi is a ridiculously good execution on the concept of both a marionette and a ballerina with a lil sprinkle of praying mantis, which was added perfectly which at this point is common W for kuro. It's nice to see where it all started with such an awesome character.

Does DK speak english? I know for this particular interview, it was done in japanese and you translate it for us in english, but the reason that I ask is because I've noticed that he uses english sometimes while on Twitter, and I'm not sure if it's because if he's somewhat become fluent in english now, or he just uses a translator 😅. I'd also like to email him on an offer regarding business on a project of my own that I want him to do the art for so I'm just wondering.

I had the same opinions for Nier's 3D models. They're beautiful on their own merits for sure, but those character artworks are just in a different realm entirely. DK really knows their stuff...and I'd definitely read a manga/visual novel with them as the artist.

I mean, a 2D drawing would definitely look different than a 3d model. Also, just like most concept arts, they don't always become the end product.

Honkai Star Rail did it right. I'm not talking about getting those pencils lines texture. There's a degree of detail and facial nuances that make the design good that can easily be modelled accurately if they took the time to.

Man, the 3D modeling doesn't follow D.K's artistic style, of course he was the one who designed it, but the artistic style they followed was from the game itself. so of course D.k's art will diverge in art style when compared to in game model.
