In this CP-Achieve webinar session, Georgia McKenzie presents findings from her recently submitted PhD, with a focus on the implications for practice for therapists and community gyms, and opportunities for future research.
Georgia McKenzie is a physiotherapist at the St Vincent’s Hospital Young Adult Complex Disability Service working with young adults with cerebral palsy to make the transition from the paediatric to adult world and a current PhD candidate with La Trobe University and CP-Achieve at Murodch Children's Reseach Institute. Georgia’s PhD is investigating the factors influencing gym participation for adults with cerebral palsy and how to best support participation in the gym.
