I fell for a 19 year old bar girl, her English was really good. We spent the first night together and then spent a couple days together when she was off work. Had such a good time... until what I assume was her boyfriend tried robbing me at knifepoint. Couldn't tell if it was a set up or if he was jealous and following her. Damn what a story, that girl costed him nearly everything. What keeps me surprising is that guys keep sending those huge amounts of money even after those girls admitted that they have more boyfriends or better said, more customers because that's basically what you are when you go with a bargirl. But he still is a bit hard headed because next time he prefers a girl from a small village because he thinks the (financial) demands will be less. Well, in my opinion Thailand is definitely not the right place to find "true ove and life partners". Love is measured by money there unless you're willing to make that financial sacrifices and share girls with others. But for a good and fun time, it's a great country for sure but each to his own I guess, I hope this guy will find what he's looking for.
