From ROUGH to RING! Making Ammolite, Larimar, and Faceted Sunstone Settings from the Ground Up!

In this one, I take you all through the process of making rings from scratch! While I have already prepped stones that would work fine for this purpose, I thought it would be more fun to show you all the process from beginning to end! That being said, we start by making a lovely larimar cabochon, and then detail the process of making ammolite cabochons! They are a bit tricky to make but the end result is outstanding! On top of those, I went ahead and faceted some of my Oregon Sunstone which came out beautifully. Stones finished, we go ahead and make a simple bezel cup setting for the larimar and ammolite, and then we make a simple prong setting for the sunstone! I think they all came out looking beautiful! As I mention in the video, this video can be taking as a "How to Make Rings: Beginners edition", that being said, we will be doing the "Advanced Edition" very soon, so look forward to seeing those settings! I hope you all enjoy and I will have another one out very soon!

One of my top favorite videos of all time Theo! Wow wow wow. I can't pick a favorite. I guess if I had to, it would be the ammolite. Probably because I know how extremely hard it is to work with. You are King 🤴 of rings 💍, Lord of stone 🙏🙏🙌🙌🏹🏹💙💙💚💚

I think the sunstone ring came out really beautiful. I love all the facets. I also have a suggestion for your ammolite. Could you make a dragonfly pendant with cabs of ammolite as the segments to the dragonfly? I think it would be incredible.

@@TheoKellison Love watching your stuff. I think it is actually a good that that Larimar doesn't get as much attention. A bigger demand for it would probably wipe out the source in short order. I love how it's an entire village that shares the mine and doesn't allow anyone else in. They're guaranteeing themselves product for a long time to come that way.
