I find it fascinating that you've started with slipcasting and only started the more traditional ceramic techniques just now. I think most take the opposite journey.
Indeed! I've taken an unusual path for sure. Part of that was the pandemic. The other part is knowing myself and what my skills are. It's been interesting jumping into this class knowing how clay works. It's actually let me focus more on building the forms instead of needing to learn everything at once. And I think there might be more opportunities for others doing it that way (although maybe not with slip casting specifically).
