A simple rope can help your body to feel the circle of speed that we try to do. The result is a shallow attack on the ball. Perfect for longer straighter drives.
Let me help you get an effortless golfswing with speed and accuracy. A good release will help you to a better impact and longer drives and irons without slice and hook. How to swing a golf club need to be adjusted to your skill level and experience.
Long and straight is the goal for everyone but it takes time. Try to focus on one thing not everything when you practise. Impact, face control and swingpath will always be the most important part to drill. We focus too much on rotation but no good golf shot will be executed just by rotating.
I’m naturally right handed but all my tips works for both left handed and right handed golfers.
We also need to understand that many myths in golf are misleading. We shall not keep our head still, only start with the hips, look only at the ball or keep the left or right arm straight.
If you use callaway, ping, titleist or taylor made clubs doesn’t matter you can learn to hit good golf shots. Your loft or your shaft on the club will not change but you can get better.
Find what inspires you. The pga tour, longdrivers or other good golfers can all help you find better golf shots. Watch what they do instead of listed to what they say. Listen mostly to your body and figure out what you need to do to produce the same results as the pros on TV.
Mike Malaska, Mike Austin, Mike Dunaway and Steve Pratt are some of my favorite golf instructors online. Find the tips that make your golf better. Decide what you want to hit. I teach a draw but many like a fade and nobody likes a hook or slice.
Your hips or your lag is not the key to golf. Your hands will decide the shot and you can do like Tiger Woods and trust your hands. Teach your hands to hit different shots. Hit big hooks and slices to understand what happens. Only straight is not gonna teach you anything.
Bryson Dechambeu and Kyle Birkshire can inspire you to hit it longer. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson can give you inspiration and motivation to test new things and new golf shots. Linn Grant, Viktor Hovland and Ludvig Aberg can show you the future of golf.
The Masters, Players Championship, The Players, The Open and US Open can make you love golf even more. See the best in the world solve all the problems we all need to master any golf course. Golf is a craft and you need fantasy, feel and skills to master it.

Marcus, your insight into the golf swing is far and away, not only the best on you tube, but is the best I have encountered in my 70 years. You have fixed my slight over the top, something I have struggled with and have tried on so many other occasions to correct. Thank you. God speed your healing, we look forward to your return my friend.🙏

Hey Marcus. I have only recently discovered your channel. I enjoyed Mike Austin's golf swing many years ago, but couldn't really figure out the technique from the videos and couldn't put it into practice. Your golf videos provide the missing link for me, allowing me to return to my favoured technique after years of going astray. Thank you!

The creator of the "Orange Whip" has stated that his original idea was indeed a rope with a weight at the end. When I bought mine here in Houston a lady PGA professional happened to be around the checkout counter and said she new the guy years ago when they were both teaching in Arizona and his company was just getting started. Thanks for all your very helpful vids, Marcus!

I think many have seen the benefits of swinging a rope. Maybe I feel a new use for my Orange Whip next time. Thanks for watching.

Spot on my man .....a golf swing is a free flowing circle up and around then down and out body pivot takes care of the square up, the rope swing proves that point.....trust and it works everytime......Thx one more time Marcus

How i think with the concept you teach, is my hands are a small inner circle, swing roughly shoulder to shoulder, however the club head is a big wide circle, the wider the better especially with driver. Works for me, most importantly no strain on my almost 70 years old body, if most amauters followed you Marcus, it would made their game so much easier instead of all the lag and hold the angle thought, i know from past experiences, when i tried it my game went downhill fast.

Thanks for sharing! You are correct, the important circle is the circle the club is doing around our hands. 👍

Thanks for this. I've been going to your videos. You have a talent for simple explanations. You've helped me to crystallize what some other people have been saying but not quite as clearly. I also like the way your feet move. Your front foot turns a bit after impact, which will probably save your knees from getting injured.

Thanks Craig, I'm glad that you find value in my videos and yes, my footwork saves my whole body from injury.

Hi Marcus. Dan Martin a utube coach uses a short rope with a soft weight on one end and a golf grip on the other end. He promotes swinging this to get the feeling of a golf swing. But for me you say to push with my trail arm is the best advise ever.

Ive only been following you on utube for 2 weeks. But the best advice l have ever received is push the trail hand to pass the front hand. And no twisting. When l do it correctly, the ball absolutely flies. Thanks mate from Australia

Hey Marcus! Are you initiating a slight tilt or bend backwards with your upper body in the downswing to help create that motion of a shallow circular swing path! Thanks as always!

You always seem to stand very far away from the ball; if I do that I end up hitting the ball on the toe of the club; am I not swinging out enough or possibly rotating too much too soon? As always thanks for your insight

Dave, our balance is not the same. Find your good balance, don't copy mine if we are not exactly built the same.

I’m a believer in telling and showing what you want to do with the golf club to the brain with the results of practice … practice…practice Program it correctly and then let it run on automatic As we’ve heard and it’s true…Get Out Of It’s Way a Good vid
