Similar incident happened in Iran as well. Loss of lives is very unfortunate. There must be more stringent rules for airlines to stay away from the conflict zones to ensure safety of passengers.

It was a very tragic incident.

This plane ( Malaysia) which disappear in Pacific Ocean was hit by USA naval Missile in ocean.

i dont think it was hit by russian or ukranian ; civil craft r totally diffrent to military air craft and clearly identify in day light ;any soldier cant take decession its own to fire an civil air craft; he must seek permission 1st;to highier authorities ;or such orders r stand already ;which air line knows and care ;as u have told there was many other plane used this route already so hitting this plane was exceptional;;the talks of 2 russian not disclosed that they were targeting the craft ;they only talking about planes make;if it was hit ;must b some any fighter jet of unknown ;;;;;the make of missiole clearly show ;the maker s name which is not in this report;h/e its look it was left unenquired .

The livery on the Malaysian aircraft looks similar to the Russian president's aircraft.. same colour scheme, both have red and blue stripes. Probably it was thought that the Russian President's aircraft was being targeted.
