"have you all ever given me the most basic form of respect" and "please respect me". to me, it seems like she wasn't mad about the counting, the counting was just a trigger. it seems like she exploded because she had been keeping in the anger for some other shit going on behind the scene. you know like when you had a really bad day and suddenly your clothes/bag got stuck at a door or something and you just explode and cry. but, you weren't crying about the door, the door was just a trigger. I haven't seen the whole episode to know what's going on before the counting but that's the vibe I'm getting from the short clip

It could very well be BPD, which is a disorder that develops commonly FROM this type of abuse. Please stop using an entire group of people to justify child abuse. ZS just feels very broken. Did she even received any help, like mentally? From the way her mother raised her to her father leeching off of her, she's definitely a broken child who grew up into a broken adult. And from the story, it felt like everyone just ignored all of the red flags because she's "born to be a star". Like what's up with the college interviewers accepting her after her literally telling everyone that she's being forced by her mother to do this? What happened after she told everyone that she's a blank canvas made by her mom and she doesn't have any hobbies or interests, or what about her slapping herself and saying youth was painful? "Oh she's so funny and relatable?" Wtf? She's being weird and having meltdowns on shows? Her dad making money off questions that are probably too personal? There's too much happening, and yet she still remained as a top celebrity and while there are a bunch of concerned fans, did she even received formal help? Then the whole thing with the baby daddy, ugh how messed up. Part of me finds her pitiful because of her series of unfortunate relationships but now that there's even kids involved, I just don't know anymore. The kids definitely are the biggest victims here. They need better parents

Eventually his stay was coming to an end and he would have to go back to China so essentially being deported however Zheng was allegedly going against them and not allowing her kids to come into China since 1. It would ruin her career since she was secretly married with children and 2. She didn’t see her kids as her own because of her and her husband separating. So her kids would be placed in the foster system due to husband being deported.

I agree with you her actions speak more than words now and I hope she gets her children back cause I was thinking the same as Steph maybe she said that in the heat of the moment it happens She became my fav actress after love 020 cdrama and when I found out about this and her whole childhood I noticed how much trauma she had and how there was sudden change in her behaviors just like it was mentions and it made me wonder what if she’s going to this extremes to get help and she was always turned back it’s sad to see it but I hope she’s doing the Change for the better and to leave her parents because of she doesn’t know only when they die she’s going to be completely free

i feel very sorry for her. i do not condone her actions. But it is very obvious she is a deeply traumatised individual. She literally said "ive always respected the game and you are saying if im quiet im an idiot" like that directly relates to her childhood and i truely wished she grew up different but there is NO excuse for her actions. Trauma really shapes you as a human but you still have a choice in becoming a good human being.

I say as long as nobody is getting hurt it’s all good. If you ever want to spend time with kids you can always babysit for cousins, siblings, and friends. If not that’s totally okay. It’s your life and when it comes to kids you have to really want to have kids because kids are exhausting, they’re expensive, they take up a lot of free time. Not to mention the horror of pregnancy which only gets worse anytime I hear anything new about it.

ZS really had a hard life, I feel bad for her. All her life, she was surrounded by abusive people. Abusive parents, forced into a career that requires her to starve herself, her to look perfect; control how she acts and what she says; then she was in a relationship with an abusive man. Sure she wasn’t perfect but you can’t really blame her when she was raised and lived in such an environment all her life. Sure she was ignorant and dense when it comes to money, business, and what poverty actually is. Sure she had no connection to her babies before their birth and what she said is truly out of pocket but then again we also say something we don’t mean when we are distressed and cornered

I tried these while I was in Korea the past summer and I think you’d really enjoy them: - rent a tandem bike and ride by Hangang on a nice day before sunset, then have a night picnic by the river. The vibes are sooo nice - Try making your own artisanal traditional Korean rice cakes, I used an Airbnb experience and a lady named Jinsil taught us how to make them! Look it up~

Just think you cannot express yourself at home or anywhere but maybe unconsciously she had to let it out and got it too bottled up, and showed it without intention her true emotions in expectation that someone helps you.

I see a broken person who doesn't know how to love because she was never taught how to, it's rough when you want your parents to love you and appreciate you when they don't even know how to love themselves. Parents tend to project their past traumas onto their children it's like her family is stuck in a vicious cycle imagine how her children will feel when they are old enough to understand what she did to them.

I am sorry, but anyone who treats their child like that does not love their child. The mom of ZS would be in jail in my country. In Germany, it's illegal to hit a child and if you regularly do so or otherwise abuse your child, people won't hesitate to call child services. It is beyond me how it is normal in other countries to hit a child, if you think it's normal to hit a child no matter what something is wrong with you!

Zheng Shuang was always a really controversial celebrity before everything went down. The term爽言爽语 was actually created because the things she said was always illogical and hard to understand. There was a time where everyone started to mock her way of speaking too. Btw the tv show Mistermango butt mentioned “流星花园” is the Taiwan version. The one Zheng Shuang was in is a remake in China called “一起来看流星雨”

I feel like ZS didn't want the kids after the break up becuz then she wud hv to watch over the kids with her mom and dad and she was probably scared that her parents would treat their grandkids the way they treated her. Maybe this is why later on she went to the US to take care of them (away frm her parents) even when she claimed to be "broke" and probably didn't want the kids to go to China because of the same reason. This is just my opinion.

I think when a person goes through a special type of abuse from a young age....it all gets embedded in the head of the person Making them think it's all Normal and natural and that same person starts to inflict same abuse on another person without even realizing it. I love how they said Boys Over Flowers and then said that the Chinese drama was based on a Japanese story. It's Hana Yori Dango, and all of these dramas were based on the manga. There were so many Asian adaptations.

For reference, the drama Meteor Shower/Garden was the 2018 Chinese remake of the Japanese manga Boys Over Flowers. The remake that Zheng Shuang starred in was actually the second Chinese remake of Meteor Garden, with the first version being the 2001 version of Meteor Garden which starred Taiwanese actors Barbie Hsu and Jerry Yan. There was also a highly popular Korean remake under the title Boys Over Flowers.

My opinion about the phone call part in the end ( I don’t have a time stamp ) I think she made the surrogacy decision maybe from pressure caused by the husband… and in that moment it felt right but then she realised it’s l not what she wants, and started to regret it. How she said it sounded REALLY wrong and I won’t deny that. But somethings you gotta think about from all perspectives which is what the internet lacks. The internet just looks for drama and someone to blame without thinking about possibilities. Anyway… that’s just me🤷‍♀️

It is Boys Over Flowers! Hana Yori Dango was the manga and it was adapted by many countries. Hana Yori Dango (1995, Japan) Meteor Garden (2001, Taiwan) Boys Over Flowers (2005, Japan) Boys Over Flowers (2009, Korea) Meteor Garden (2018, China) Meteor Garden (2021, Thailand) But Meteor Shower was an unlicensed show, but the 2018 remake was. They were "inspired" by the show & manga. Love the manga and remakes. The 2001 one was Barbie Hsu & Jerry Yan's big break. And was the most famous to the aunties. And the Korean was for our generation. But personally I love the 2018 remake. Meteor Shower is the least famous out of all the remakes. But the franchise has a big following. So its not bound to fail

The times where she would enter into trances and slump sounds like dissociative states. If she experienced so much childhood trauma she was probably triggered in many of those variety shows and dissociated as a response. That's extremely sad.
