I hope mike has a bigger role in season 4 vol 2 and season 5. He was so excellent in season 1 as the leader and I feel like since he's played a smaller role.
@@christiancolo7768 if we count what’s on the streaming service itself, I’d say ATLA, Breaking Bad, Jojo’s, One Piece, Naruto, Attack on Titan, Hunter x Hunter, Korra, and Cobra Kai are all better (imo ofc). Dunno about Dark tho 🤔 Stranger Things is still undoubtedly great.
Agreed. I really appreciate that the duffers took such a strong and loving character and showed that trauma doesn't always show in romantasized ways. Mike is paranoid that everyone who criticizes him or El is trying to take away his happiness. Finn may be an adult but Mike is just a kid and he's carrying around a lot. He needs a hug just as much as any of the others do.
Fr, people hate on him but they just don’t see him for who he is. When you understand Mike and pay attention to who he actually is it makes he realise what a lovely and beautiful character he is ❤️
@@yektashayesteh8490 I think Mike is the perfect representation of a teenage boy trying to figure himself out ig even though he can be a jerk sometimes I think it can still be justified by all of his past trauma and him just trying to live like a normal kid again
Volume 2 can't come fast enough. I need Joyce to have a stress free life, Steve to survive, and Will to confess to Mike. Oh, and Murray to keep being awesome.
Kind of funny because Will wants to give a painting he made for Mike and I have a bestfriend like Mike who is an attractive boy im in love with and im also a boy and I drew him like his fav anime character and he loved it so im making it into a poster and gonna send it to him kind of like love parallels lol.
he's such a beloved character of mine, fin himself as well actually. such a calm and cool person. very fond of him and loved watching every bit of this :)
1:26 “I think Mike’s just trying to be as normal as possible” Well, that explains a lot of his behavior this season. Reminds me a lot of when Jonathan tells Will in season 2 “Do you wanna be normal, do you want to be just like everyone else?” Mike is definitely hiding something. What? “He might be into som new things.” like… what? Pineapple on pizza? No. He’s into Will, and he realized it by the end of season 3 I believe. But he’s trying to be normal, he’s trying to push these feelings away. You can tell by the flirting scene in Will’s bedroom in “Dear Billy” that he definitely feels something more for Will than just friendship. I hope we get to see a confession in season 5 when the truth about painting comes out. It’s gonna be an awesome season.
Yes. Absolutely. As much as the hellfire/high school outfit and hair looked fine, it isn't exactly what people in the 1980's described as "normal". So, if he wasn't trying to be normal through his clothing and appearance during high school, then what else is he trying to change about himself to be "normal"? I genuinely do not see anything out of the ordinary for him that he's trying to change (he explicitly stated that he doesn't want to be like the cool kids, he would rather be a nerd) on the surface, so what's he hiding? His feelings for Will. He thinks those are abnormal because of the conservative town that he lives in and because of the people around him (Troy, possibly his parents, elders at school), so he's trying to push those feelings away. He thinks that, if he ignores his feelings for Will, he will become normal. And not to mention the way he acts around Will (heart-to-hearts all the time, flirting, looking at the latter's lips, etc.). He's trying, doesn't mean he's succeeding.
watching ST4 right now . . absolutely brilliant . . its SOOOO well done, everything about it, acting, writing, production, costumes, set . . everything, its pure perfection . . 👌🏼
“I don’t give an eff” he curses in the show and he’s almost 21 why didn’t he just say it?!? This is why i love finn wolfhard, he has an amazing sense of humor😂
i honestly dislike the way how my favorite character; mike, is being so misunderstood and hated. in fact, his character shows lots of realism. many st fans hate him with the way how he hasn’t been so “ open “ with el in season 4, when he was just having clear trouble with expressing his own feelings. especially to the people he truly loves and cares about. his parents probably had a rough & forced relationship - never had the chances to show him or nancy what it was like to express love, hence the reason why it’s the same with him and el, or with will.
