@@kakarot4908 Yeah Right... They have long Run-Up till Crease n their Big Jump Stride was really Quick & Smooth too... So, it's actually very difficult...
Some bowler's pace makes batsman wet their pants but then there are legends like Brett Lee, McGrath and Johnson whose mere presence, their run-up would do the job. Greatest bowlers of all time!
*That jump.. that release!! Uff! Brett lee's action is a thing of beauty!!!* *Doesn't this day just sum up Brett lee? Damn he was a joy to watch!* *For me, he is the most finest fast bowler in the history of cricket. Period.*
Have a look at Dennis Lillee. His action was incredibly smooth. And Michael Holding, he was known as 'Whispering Death' as his footsteps barely made a sound.
I’m still confused to this day which one I like better Lee or Steyn! But honestly having seen the new Aussie quartet over the past few years, I can safely say the first decade had their best bowling lineup ever! Lee, McGrath, Gillespie & Warne can not be matched. Accentuated further by the debacle that was the Border-Gavaskar trophy again!!
He was consistently fast. Never lost speed in his prime. Akhtar used to run out of gas after 2-3 spells. Binga had better stamina. On par with Pigeon as Australia's best limited over bowler.

@@starlord6073 Bro sachin was not comfortable while brett lee was bowling him. The 161 km/h speed no bowler can generate that. McGrath was the winner between the battle with sachin so just shut up.
Brett Lee has Muscles and broad Shoulders .. since he is tall it is not noticeable. . but make him stand with Subcontinent player.. u will see the difference..
@@vijayaprabu6669 he does, but it's that leaping bowling action that does the magic. There are many bowlers who are more muscular than him, but he has one of the most athletic bowling actions
It's of course a batsman's game nowadays as pitches are getting older. But yes, watching fast bowlers knocking off the stumps is the coolest thing about cricket
Happy Birthday Lee I remember 2003 world cup semi final vs marvan athapaththu 160kmph ball it was bitter for our victory but I appreciate your ball skill 🇱🇰
I met Brett just the once about 20 years ago. Super nice guy. I'm a DJ and he was at a pub where I was playing. He'd obviously had a bit to drink. This is often when "the real me" pops out of people's carefully crafted facade. He came and requested a song. He was very respectful & not at all demanding. None of this "Do you know who I am" vibe. He was there with Shane Watson. Both guys seemed like real genuine guys, very respectful of others and just wanted to have a good time like everyone else....which they did.
He is the best bowler of all times. In fact, those were the golden era of Aussie cricket just because of Brett Lee. I am glad to pass my schooling days, watching him.
He was first picked in the Australian side for his sheer pace. International batsmen were able to find him out. He went back to NSW for a couple of years, and worked a lot with McGrath. His second coming brought an absolute world class bowler!
One of my most favourite bowler of all time.. I always used to try to copy 2 bowling styles in my childhood.. 1) zaheer khan ,2) Binga. Brett Lee , oh Brett Lee. I miss seeing him in Australian cricket Jersey, coming Fast ,bowled out the batsman & that celebration, punching the air from top to bottom.. What a time to be cricket fan specially Australian cricket fan, it was.. I miss those days,,..
Brett Lee steaming in was the most exciting sight I've ever seen on a cricket field. Hostile, large hearted, smart and furiously fast. Cricket fans will always remember this great fast bowler
I Always remember bret lee from the qualifier Match between India vs Australia in worldcup 2011 in which he got hurt in the head and blood was running but he didnt get out of field and was continue to bowl. Such a commited player.
