At the moment, a total of 5,700 international students are studying at TU Dresden. Many of them remain connected to TU Dresden after their graduation - some of them even as regional ambassadors. In our “Hot Seat,” we asked these alumni about their favorite memories of TU Dresden, whether people abroad have even heard of Dresden, and why it's worth studying in another country.
We also asked them if students can contact them to find out more about a semester abroad, how often they still visit Dresden, and what their favorite word in Saxon dialect is.
If you would like to stay connected with TU Dresden after your graduation, you'll find all the information you need at👉 tu-dresden.de/alumni

Hot Seat:
Each episode focuses on a different group of people who all have something in common - be it that they share the same workplace, same degree program, or same research area. We ask them questions from our community and do away with clichés and prejudices.
More about regional ambassadors of TU Dresden:
More than 470 TU Dresden alumni are available to you as regional ambassadors both worldwide and on site. They inform students who want to go abroad for their studies or for an internship about the conditions in the host country. The regional ambassadors are points of contact for TU Dresden and its members in their home country and make it easier for those who want to get started there. Their experience and knowledge is valuable information for everyone new to the country. At the same time, students from abroad can contact the regional ambassadors if they have any questions about studying at TU Dresden.
