Used your video to 'easily' change turn signal on the wife's car. It never ceases to amaze me how stupidly designed new cars are. I didn't bother jacking up the car but I can see how that would have been easier. Finally had to have the wife lock it back in to place as my hands were too big to move around much in the confined space.
Great video very informative I hate to be one of those "but" people but I've learned you don't have to use the jack to get to the light bulb the car can just be sitting in the drive way and you will be fine just don't want to have room for someone getting hurt from lifting the car up when you can just eliminate that from happening GOD BLESS from TEXAS
Took about 2 minutes to replace, thanks. p.s. you don't have to jack up the car to do this. Either have the wheel turned to the left on the passenger side. Turn to the right on the driver's side. OR, a small arm, like I have works when your son has his keys and it is 9:30 at night. Thanks. Wayne
For the passenger side turn signal, I found it easier to just open the hood and remove the air intake snorkel from the fender. There's a bulb socket right behind it. (I'm pretty sure it was the turn signal not the headlight but I could be wrong, it's been years since I did it)
I can only find one socket which I believe is the headlight and not the turn signal, there's a bracket in our '06, is that supposed to be there? Where exactly is the turn signal bulb socket located? Frontwards or on the side behind that bracket? Thanks.
+Jeanne52573 mine is an 06 so they should be the same thing I replaced my turn signal and my headlight bulbs with no problem I know with the turn signal you feel like you got to get real real close to the inner fender.
