Hi Michelle, I love the enthusiasm when you talk about the plants selected for the new landscape! The selection of plants is going to look awesome! Looking forward to watching part 2. It is refreshing to watch your videos because you talk about plants other than Proven Winner plants. Proven Winners has awesome plants (have a lot in my garden) but there are also awesome plants from other plant brands. Some of which I am going to add to my garden. Thanks!!

How late in the year can you make these changes in your Northern climate? I was worrying about the cold coming so soon. I know nothing about Northern zones, just looking to learn😊

I will plant perennials until mid Sept, maybe a touch later, and shrubs until maybe mid October and I have planted trees up until Thanksgiving before. They just get settled in and then go dormant. You have to make sure they all get watered in well.

I thought hosta was a shade plant? Im not being hateful at all cause i absolutely love your video's. I thought you said it was a shade garden turned into a sun garden. Beautiful plants.❤

Some hostas do very well in the sun - especially in northern gardens.

And I probably didn't do a good job explaining her bed is 1/2 shade (under the maple) and half sun. I will make sure to cover that in the next video...thanks 😀😀
