Welcome to Gardening TLC! My name is Michelle Cox and I am a gardener in Northern Illinois Zone 5b. I own a garden center and I am an avid home gardener. I am a volunteer Master Gardener with the University of Illinois Extension. I am also a retired landscape designer and landscape installer. I have been gardening all my life and my channel is about sharing that passion with you. Join me as I share my garden journey!
Thanks for posting my picture. I made my entire family come see that I made RU-vid! My kids thought it was funny it had my husband's name on it since he does none of the gardening (I guess his name shows on the email.). I sent you an updated pic with the new pedestal. Congrats with the 25,000 subscribers. Love watching your videos! Michelle
Well, good morning to you. What a glorious day, here also in Oklahoma. You are fantastic, love your program. You are so much fun to watch. I have learned so much from you. Continue to make your videos have a great day the oklahoma gardener😊
Goats beard are very invasive here. I am constantly pulling them in my yard, they are wild flowers here in southeast Alaska and they are everywhere! I prefer astilbes, they are prettier, not invasive and you can’t kill them here. They love the rain we have, in zone 3.
Oh my, Michelle! I can already tell I’m gonna have to watch this a few times. The daylilies in that last tour are amazing! Thank you for taking us along.
I LOVE Garden Gab! Awesome photos! Michelle, you seem like one of my girlfriends, and I think many of us feel that way. I did get the “iron bowl on a stump” pic sent to you. I’m so glad you like it. I sure hope you can find a bowl. I love mine.
Thank you for posting my pictures. We just had a major storm last night. Everything survived except for our much loved tiger eyes sumac. The 50-80 mph winds ripped it right out of the ground and blew it away.
Thank-you, Thank-you Thank-you , The way you share your knowledge makes it so much easier than most gardening videos! I found your feed about a month and a half ago, and I am addicted. My garden over the last 15 years is overgrown to the spot that I do not have enough room. I’m trying to decide which plants should go because I love them all, you’re Advice is helping tremendously. Thank you.❤
Thoroughly enjoyed this Garden Gab video! I was surprised to find two of my questions chosen. How fun! Loved seeing subscribers Garden pics. I will send a pic for August. My garden is getting a makeover so not as lush as past years, but that is part of the gardening experience, which I love!
I’ve been gardening for 45 years and I’m still learning from you!! I wish you weren’t so far away, would love to sit on your porch, drink wine and talk gardening!! 🌸🌻🌺
Great video Michelle thank you very much. Congratulations on 25K....OPPS I mean 26.1K subs!! Isn't that just wonderful? Well you are amazing and your information is priceless to us garden people. Lol So no wonder you are growing so fast. I almost hate to ask because you are doing so much but how are the veggies all doing? I'm sure you are over whelmed by now with yummy produce eh? Lets us know when you have a moment to breathe, and if I missed a video about them I'm sorry I'll find it. Lol Enjoy your day. Much love.
Im so sorry. I dropped that series...i just could not keep up.....I know why people who do 5 and 6 videos a week have that as their full time job....plus I do all the editing....and the garden center..and some landacaping......
@@gardeningTLC Oh my goodness that is so understandable. No problem. Lol thank you for telling me. You are superwoman in my book. Bless you and ALL you do for us. Now go sit down lol ♥
8b, W. TN ☀️ This is EXACTLY what I needed right NOW. Perfect timing. I love these flagstones and all the stones you showed. I need walkways on my property. Sick & tired of chigger bites, and having to wear long pants sprayed with OFF. Hoping paths will help a lot. Thank you for this information!
I’m surprised that you didn’t reach that subscriber number much sooner. You have great energy and teaching. Thanks so much for doing interesting projects and answering our questions to help us like you do.
Thank you for mentioning me I was asking about the planter heads I found three in Amish country store all at a good price. I planted fake sedums since they have no drainage holes. I absolutely love them. One in my foyer one in my bedroom and one in my gazebo!!!!!!
You have only been on RU-vid for 17 months? Wow!! You are good at this. I love your videos! I'm in zone 8a, west TN. It's tooo hot!!! Thank you so much for your fun, informative content! 😊
I enjoy your channel because of you: your personality, enthusiasm, knowledge, broad range of subjects, and videos that address problems and solutions for beginning to experienced gardeners. Thank you for startingthis channel.
Michelle, the energy and movie content is always awesome. You’re a patient teacher! 😂 As I watch your movies, I continue to focus on your red Midwest Barn. I know you love 💕 that color, but it takes away from your lovely gardens. I’ve been studying your house bricks and wonder what you think about painting a medium brown with an orange undertone and then a beige/ tan door / shutters? ❤😂❤ I just feel that the cool barn would look great, while shining the light over your gardens! 😅
Thank you for posting my question on those chipmunks in my flower and planting those 2 new shurbs , if I needed to dig them up to check to see if there is damage to the roots , Happy to say I think I got rid of the 3 chipmunks that has made a home in 2 different flower beds , and I check each day to make sure no signs of them , So Far Those Shurbs Look Good , plus I kept them water as we are in our 90 everyday
You deserve a million followers!!! I so enjoy everyone of your videos and truly appreciate all the knowledge you so kindly share. It always feels like I'm chatting with a neighbor. Thank you again for all you do. Enjoy your day. P.S. these photos were all beautiful.
Excellent Garden Gab! Michelle, the information you provide and the enthusiasm you deliver this information are greatly appreciated. I learn something new with each of your videos. Many thanks!
