Laura thank you so much for your great videos! I live in the high desert SW Arizona 70 miles east of Tucson and we have very harsh conditions due to heavy dry winds from the beautiful mountains that surround us and I find comfort with the knowledge I have gained from watching your videos that I can make better decisions when it comes to my succulents. Between you and Debra Baldwin I feel I am becoming a better succulent enthusiasts. I wish I could come and learn from you in person!
Las Vegas/Henderson here and I hear you on the harsh conditions, we too are doing our front in cacti and succulents can't wait to see how it will all turn out!

Hello Laura I live in Islamabad Pakistan in am fond of succulents and love these guys but I don't have experience to grow properly I watched your video clips related to succulents I started following you and now I am able take care of succulents thank you very to guide us keep blessed.
Laura you are iconic. I love learning from your videos & do so often. My question is related to the lava placed in your front yard. I have many small dogs who like to go where I would prefer them not to. I have been looking for something nice to use as a deterrent. Can you give me any more information on the rock by chance. I am eventually going to place it in a small area about 2ft x 5ft where 4 large trees once existed, now only the base of each trunk remains sticking out of the soil. Then in the right corner there's A grayish 5ft tall stone waterfall fountain. Behind the stumps is a disguised wooden box that hides cables for some outdoor lights, but also has a buddha sitting on top of it. That's pretty much it. But my dogs use that area to do there buisness & I'd like to create something nice while keeping them away at the same time. Any ideas / or suggestions are truly appreciated and taken to heart / put into action. Thanks so much Laura. With love from LA - staci
Staci Silverstone hi Staci! I have found that mo animals have used my front yard as a toilet! The lava rock is sharp and uncomfortable on their feet, I guess? You’ll need to train your dogs to go in another area, however, if your anticipated planting area is currently their area. Best of luck and thanks for following!
Love your video! i watch all you video many time and never tired, by the way, where I can buy lava rock ? is it expensive . I am so stressful , people let their dog poop and pee on the succlent in front of my yard, smell bad.
You have an amazing rock garden/lawn alternative😃. Wanna do mine like yours. How is the lava rock holding up? Any regrets with using that kind of rock?
