i never had a guild with a good raid leader like this. theyre so rare honestly. for every 10, maybe 20 or even more raiding guilds there are, only one of them will actually have a legit raid leader like this

Many raid leaders out there like this However, very few PLAYERS who want to fall in line and actually play as a team. Most people say they want a confident and decisive raid leader, but when it means THEY themselves need to fall in line and show up, they're crying xD So as an OG in MMO gaming, with many large guild/ outfit experience I can say: Amazing job by the players in this group for being solid, and doing what they're supposed to do

The bosses haven’t been nerfed. Everything is optimized nowadays. They’re using world buffs for every raid. From the Onyxia head turn in and the heart of Hakkar turn in from zg. And a few others that increase dmg/crit/movement speed and stats. Plus every alchemy elixir/flask that is useful. The best items to wear for every class is now figured out as well. Dps is probably triple or more of what you experienced back in the day.

Ferals require an insane amount of prep and still are not that great on dps. Balance druids run out of mana insanely fast. Resto can grief by having heal over time spells remove buffs since there is a cap on that number. The main reason they bring is for mark of the wild buff.

I watched them do Naxx earlier now and they were much slower and much more precise. Surgical is the word I was looking for earlier and thats what they were this time! RL even said many times 'slow down guys'. I guess they just didnt respect MC at all lol. @@thedman623

Not sure what all the stats/abilities are, but they are the best for raiding.

@@rayplaysgames_RPG From a dps perspective, you would be correct. The utility comes in its abilities. Screech allows it to have threat on multiple enemies and reduces enemy attack power. For pulling mobs, dive gives more movement than dash would from a cat. They’re not bringing hunters for their dps.

@@mastodonknotts I used to use a bat for screech vs melee is pvp back in the day vanilla. I didnt think the minor ap loss was that effective in raids

the design isn't the issue because you have to accoutn for the entire 1-60 process which takes people 2 weeks max if they're not sweating now, 20 years later. Before, it took like 3-6 months to get 60 if you were brand new. 1 month if you were old enough and had some previous mmo experience. Still, a month of play time for the leveling experience? Most games can't boast a week of playtime now. The game wasn't designed for high end min/maxed raiding and the balance was never addressed because dumb blizzard decided to go to TBC instead of fixing vanilla.

Go start your own guild and you can do the same if your guild gets close to getting all those 60’s

To an extent, I do agree but it really depends on the encounter. I (accidentally) tanked Garr on my ele shaman in cloth gear, nothing happened. Dude hits like a wet noodle. Sometimes it's safer just to end the encounter as quickly as possible. Other times, yeah, I'd agree but I just I looked at a couple bosses now and I do very much see a tank switching to a shield as soon as threat is not an issue anymore. Edit: I actually checked every boss now. There is no shield on Geddon bc that dude deals fire damage. There is none on Shazzrah bc most of his damage is arcane damage and threat needs to be generated quickly. If you get hit for less than 10% of your health every couple seconds, you don't need a shield. Literally on every other boss, someone was wearing a shield.
