We are a Dungeons and Dragons documentary. We interview the creators of D&D and people in the DnD community. Frontiers of Eberron: Threshold, a sourcebook that will provide everything you need to run your own campaign and adventures in the exciting Breland-Droaam border region. In addition to a full chapter focused on the town of Threshold and its denizens, this book will contain expanded locations, power groups, adventures hooks, and monsters that can be found on the frontier, along with a host of character options. It will be available both in PDF and print when it is launched on Dungeon Masters Guild in 2021!
Frontiers of Eberron: Threshold (Project: FRAG) is designed by Keith Baker, supported by the talents of Will Brolley, Laura Hirsbrunner, and Wayne Chang, along with an expanded group of playtesters. In the coming months, we will continue to tease and preview as we always have. You can even get a sneak peek at Threshold by joining Keith’s Patreon.

If you haven’t already, you should check out the podcast he’s on called Manifest Zone! It’s all about Eberron and while not every episode is a winner, the most recent ones have been super good.

The idea of becoming invested in a frontier town is also partially an aspect in Dragon of Icespire Peak. These types of campaigns are a lot of fun!

Eberron has been my favourite setting ever since it was released in 3.5E. I have almost all books released for it, and I'm so looking forward to this one. Also, Keith is so passionate about the setting, always a delight to have him talk about it. :D

I am truly looking forward to this! What a great "slice of life" study on how diverse Eberron can be! I aspire to doing similar works for Ravnica as well as really small areas of Eberron, like, Whispering Woods in Aundair!

I can’t wait for it! I think Frontier areas help new DMs limit which elements of Eberron’s rich lore. Focus...that’s the key word.

The more I get to see from Eberron the more I like it. I was so not a fan but as of this edition I am more and more converted not just in flavor but how it is being managed.

I also had a thought about a multi-party game, but in Starfinder. I wish to introduce more people to the game, and the staggering variety of racial and class options would make it very fun for people to make unusual builds and characters. It works for Eberron as well, especially with Droaam.

Probably not. The last book, Exploring Eberron, was published via Dungeon Master’s Guild. From what I’ve seen on DMsGuild, alt covers are not a thing. But who knows, maybe Keith can make it happen.

Check out Dragon Kings by tone of the original creators of Dark Sun. Came out 4-5 years ago. It's different, and yet similar.
