Love your recipes! Only new to baking but the way your break things down is amazing! So glad I found you! So much better that the over produced channels 😀
Stephanie, I really like this recipe, as I have many of your other recipes, which I have made. I want to add something. In very recent years I began to bake and I never weighed anything. Your conversion charts, substitutions, volume and weight chart, etc are wonderful!! I appreciate this information so very much. They have made me a better baker and even more organized especially after watching your videos. I don't see your new videos as often as they used to be, but at some point you will retire. I adore your videos. I will miss you greatly, if you should stop. Thank you for EVERYTHING!!
Stephanie your videos are great! Easy to follow recipes that anyone can make. Thanks for making the videos as well as the recipes for free. I spent years in college becoming a Dietary Technologist and then working in a hospital kitchen. After 37 years I lost my enthusiasm for cooking and baking, now retired I am regaining my desire to bake thanks to your videos. Thank you so much, PS my hubby is thrilled too!!
I am so happy to see a recipe that calls for frozen berries. I have a freezer full of blueberries and your crisp looks great. I will be trying this very soon. Thank you.
Looks delicious and so easy. I will definitely be making this. I also find frozen berries are less expensive where I live than fresh and being a single person I tend to buy mostly frozen fruit just because of the long shelf life.
Hi Stephanie! I love your recipes specially the cakes and muffins. I always bake them for my family and they always liked it. Also, thanks for the helpful baking tips that you give!!

hi Stephanie! Longtime fan and follower, had no idea you were a neighbor just to the south it’s strawberry time here in North Carolina and I was just wondering what you thought would be a good dessert that really showcases the strawberry, was considering a cream cheese, strawberry tart, I don’t mind a complicated creation, but really want to showcase the strawberries. Will really appreciate your input. Thanks so much for all the work you put into these videos, very much appreciated.
That’s a difficult question to answer as there are so many great strawberry recipes. There is a simple free form strawberry tart recipe. But here is the link to the strawberry recipe page which might give you some ideas. www.joyofbaking.com/StrawberryRecipes.html
I use, and have had better luck with quick cooking oats for baking, and then old fashioned for oatmeal. I find quick cooking get gummy when you try to use them for oatmeal, but they work great in cookies and streusel toppings.
