I love this channel!!!!! I get soooo jealous. It’s crazy how casual y’all act when y’all find something like a bullet casing or a canteen I would lose my mind
MORE MORE PLEASE.... You guys do an excellent job of explaining what your finds are and how they were used. It proves you not only do your research but share your knowledge with us... Thank You... (and get Mike to do some of the magnet fishing the next time you're out together)...
great stuff, love the finds and the history. I jurst purchased an m1 Garand and am in love with the history of the war. Keep it up and love the videos HH and GL
You are my favorite RU-vid videos, the knowledge you have of the smallest of things you find and the way you show how it was used with b/w photos and videos is genius. Great work guys. Awesome finds and I learn something new everytime I watch your videos! Thank you very much. From New Jersey USA
Cant help but think about the personal stories behind each item. How were they lost, did the owners survive. The pocket knife maybe from a boy growing up and going to war. Sad.

Tijs van Berkel Berkel I don't think they can keep the stuff that their finding, maybe some of it especially when it is on youtube.Either way, it would be real cool!
jannis joplin I THINK they can't keep it because the things they find are old, and "history".So i believe it's going to the "country" or like a museum. But the may keep some of the stuff, even tho that they can't keep it i think that they get money for their finds!😅 Sorry for the bad English, im from Sweden;)
You can keep what you want if your willing to pay the price if you are caught or found out. They is diffrent laws in diffrent countries as to what you can and carnt keep. Just depends we’re you find the stuff and what army the stuff belongs too as too what the laws are surrounding the belongings you have found. They is a big black market for all ww2 relics especially German. German ww2 military items are and can be worth so much money if these relic hunters found them chances are they would never hand them over to authorities. Just depends on the person I suppose. Theyvis a group off Russian ww2 hunters they go around digging dead soldiers up. Mainly German again. They claim it’s too give the soldiers a proper send off but they was a big case a few years back where when they found the soldiers they was actually stripping them off anything worth while and only handing over there bones uniforms and dog tags too the authorities and keeping the medals badges guns knifes personal belongings ect. They is loads off there videos online we’re they find soldiers still in full uniform and with all there belongings just literally fully intact as they were when they was shot dead. Really good footage worth a watch
I absolutely love what you guys do!! I’m sure you have been asked this many times before? But do you have to get prospecting or fossicking permits to detect in the areas you go to like the videos from the Arden Forest etc. Love your videos guys keep them coming!
Do you know how awesome it would be for you to be able to find the people that actually owned this stuff and hear their stories....assuming that they were alive still obviously....
My grandpa stole a teapot from hitler, he stormed the eagles nest and Dachau. he was going to participate in d-day, but received a knee injury jumping off a troop transport in training.
8:43 is not Explosive it's a fired round. now if it had the other end on it that looks like a Bullet casing then yes handle with care. But all that you have is the projectile that's been fired already
I would love to do that. Have you ever found a weapon like a machine gun, rifle or a pistol in perfect condition ? If you have I guess it would have to be in a sealed container that would not allow water in it. That would be a major find.
You dont need the bomb squad for the what you found at 8:20 it's only a projectile it's only the lead bullet part the part that comes flying at you once its shot from a tank I would guess awesome find guys
That canteen @ 5:50 To replace the missing top you can quite easily purchase a replica plastic top and chain what re-enactors use . Great find thanks for sharing
Hi! Interesting video! Congratulations for the US canteen which is very well preserved! XP deus is an excellent machine! 👍🏻 And thanks for the French translation it's very cool! Friendships from France 🇫🇷
I will patronize you guys soon - love your channel - so appreciate the actual WW2 captions showing us how these relics were used. Your cause is very worthy just please be careful. 🙏
I guess that small pond was not there 70 years ago....and items were just left lying around..or am I wrong?..either way love watching history unfold...
