This is the most fun build I have played on Diablo 4 yet. The guide goes in depth where it needs to and stay simple for other parts. I tried fireball and chain lighting which were good for early and mid game, but this build takes it to another level for T8 Hordes. Today I solo'd a 3 man horde with ~600 Aether. The only problem I have is high level pits. I am abled to get to the 125+ bosses in no time but proceed to only tickle them... haha Thank you for this build Lurkin, please keep them coming for future seasons!

I just finished this build last night, I got everything on it and for the first time ever I beat Lilith and I can get past a T8 relatively easy. First time ever I got the Shako with 2 affixes and cooldown is one of the great affixes and I farmed the Winterglass with the +6 conjuration mastery great affix with 0.3 cooldown. I love this build so much.
Found you through Petra. Great build. Way better than the fireball. Although I don't love how much of the play style is simply flood screen with things, rather than aim. Was finding myself very squishy as fireball and got a doombringer (only second uber this season) so I swapped out Storm Swell. Been great so far. Loving the DR from doombringer. Thanks for your work.
fireball didn't win the race, but it won our hearts. I would not remove storm swell. remove shredding blades (that has replaced accel in the guide). i did damage testing. storm swell is bugged and double dipping with ice armor active. triple damage when enemy is also frozen
Newbie here. Still running the hybrid version as I can’t yet triple MW everything well enough to get the CDR down to permacast LS. It’s insanely expensive to get there. For survivability I use temerity pants and a single affix of Life on Hit on any other gear. I never die even on T8, lol. Been doing 110+ pits without too much trouble except for the freaking ling and boring boss fights.
@@Lurkin17 yeah the hybrid feels very powerful indeed. I think in the end it’s either holding FO down and smashing LS as soon as it’s out of CD, or holding LS down and smashing FO to get the maintain the conjuration stacks up and the self perpetuating loop going.
Great build! I’ve been having the most fun and the most bad luck this season haha I am not finding any of my uniques despite me target farming them. I don’t even have a fractured winter glass yet🙂↕️
I second this! Scored a Tyreal's and immediately farmed my first tier 7 last night. That build slaps! Have a Shako and ROSS too. @Lurkin are you saying that the build can be better with a Lucion vs Shako?

I just finished a 2 man tier 8 Horde with this build. Swapped accelerating for Shredding Blades, still have 20+ conj out, ramped on a beefy target, hitting 30 plus mils, staggered damage hit 44 mil. This build is sick, and it's not fully MW on the hits I want, but all gear is 12/12. Don't use Unstable Currents on my build, only diference really.
yeah thats what i like about it. the masterworks dont really matter. there are no CDR checks or anything. the build does its thing. getting better MW hits just makes it slightly better
@Lurkin17 Yeah for sure. The build is nuts. Clesred tier 8 counsel in a minute. Now I just need a GA conj mastery, .03 conj CDR and max bottom stats Fractured Winterglass, lol.
@@HYPURRDBLNKLdo you have any tips for a hardcore player who's a lil scared about tier 7 and 8? I could virtually afk in tier 5, only scary thing in tier 6 is poison (when is that not scary), and I have even tried tier 7. I did drop a tyraels, no shako. Been rocking temerity up to this point and it does help keep tyraels up in tandem with Warmth. Side note, I'm currently fireball but have a 79 frozen spear alt that I'm gathering gear for, ty in advance
@droid5785 Not really, you HC cats are a different breed, lol. It's very rare I die, but it can happen. I use Shako, and Tyreals and ROSS. MY build is a little different than what Lurkin is showcasing here. I'm using his OG skill tree and Paragon, for season 5, and I don't use Unstable Currents. I dropped Accelerating for Shredding Blades. The build is solid. I farm tier 7's, 8's aren't super hard but the chance to get nuked with AOE goes up, so for you I'd probably stay at 7.

What if you replaced snowveiled with orange herald and then used "The oculus" wand for the free teleport stack. Wouldn't you get more conjurations from unstable currents? Curious to hear your thoughts!
I don’t think spam casting oculus evades count for UC procs. If you just meant for teleporting more, I don’t think any gain you could get would outweigh the loss of a damage aspect. You’d need to make 41 conj versus the 30 I can get to make up for just the 30% aspect loss
In the endgame build you said we can drop flame shield for ice blade in order to have more conjurations out. If I do that, where do you recommended using it? Thanks in advance!
This is awesome, it's very similar to the build I'm running... 1 question though, i have a GA DR Tyreals so do i still need Axial pants? I would much rather use Tibaults... Thoughts?
I actually like using regular legendary pants with concentration aspect or orange herald for better unstable uptime. Tib is nice early game when you have mana problems but if you have starless I’d drop it.
When you evade it gives 125% move speed which will convert to the full 40% or when you have all your conjuration up it will also go up to 40% without the need to evade for the ms buff
Hi Lurkin, I saw your paragon board for Uber (Hybrid for Horde) On the Ceaseless Conduit board, Galvanic Catalyst's bonus 10% lightning dmg requirement is not met. It was updated from 480 dex requirement to 540. We only have 520 dex total. Is it by design? thank you.
We don’t need the 10% lightning damage it doesn’t really matter. You can move some points around to meet the dex if you want. Its really not a big deal
It definitely can from the endgame version. Starter would be a longer solo because missing a lot of crit and ranks. But yeah pre Ubers this thing still does T8s as showcased in a video I put out after rhis

Then i use the endgame guide and switch my skill tree. I hope i got that right (your build on the mobalytics website)
Yeah I believe everything works like that. I’d use fireball or something easier until you have esus and Tal Rasha tho. They add a lot of damage but are very easy to get from varshan

Is Andariels worse than shako here? It seems its an attack speed focused build, so I thought more attack speed and 15% more damage if you use Tal Rasha might be stronger?
andys is cool to solve attack speed, but i feel super squishy and the build stacks crit not vuln. you can certainly run andariels and rasha if you want. but a good chunk of the power does come from splinter. its like 40% of the damage on single target, and way more if enemies are clumped
Without snowveiled in the uber version you only become unstoppable during a teleport (not after iirc) so the power/aspect from Tibault's is essentially wasted right? Or am I missing something about the idea to use them for more damage? With snowveiled you would get both DR and damage from them, so I think I'd prefer to run orange herald pants or even snowveiled just to be constantly unstoppable while spamming ice armor, etc. Thoughts?
yeah its wasted, which is why I masterwork life on it. you can drop tyrael's and run snowveiled chest if you get GA damage reduction which is shown in the endgame version

Sir ty for the build and i have a question, going to swap from fireball to this one.. i dont have shako still but i have tyrael and starless ring.. what helm i can use for this build? I wanna Build probably the tankiest one (with vyr) is a big problem with no shako?
no shako no problem. you cast a lot which gives you back your ice armor by spending mana. You could do Snowveiled helmet and Tibault's pants for the DR unstoppable

Just got my first fractured winterglass, but with a 0.1 cooldown reduction. Is it that bad or is the build still playable ? Should I stick to something else like fireball ? Thank you!
For frozen orb, the 0.1 cooldown is basically irrelevant because most of your conjurations are made by casting. You’ll just miss 2-4 on the top end because of less casts. But my personal build has a 0.2 roll there with no MW hits and I still can get 35 out of

Hey question for your endgame fireball build can I sub the pants for tibs I have a nice 2 GA of it is it important to have tempers of warmth and freeze and the conjugation aspect?
I run similar with wand and focus. I never considered NOT using tal rasha. Is the attack speed better than having 4 stacks? (I have a poison temper on the wand) I do have other ubers, shako, tyreals, starless. What do you think? I don’t have an atk spd GA ring to try it with If you think it’s amazing, I’ll find one Also I can’t run tibaults, my current pants have all the frickin armor. Soon as take them off it’s like 6500. Ugh
why do you have a poison temper on a frozen orb build? you really want the cast twice temper. thats the whole issue with rasha. going from60 to 80% is 12.5% more damage. but going from 30% more casts to 60% more casts is 23% more damage. frozen orb also scales with attack speed because the more attacks, the more conjurations. i dont understand why every build has starless and tal rasha. attack speed is king. tal rasha is out unless you can afford the lhc poison temper, use andariels, or dont need attack speed like on meteor or incinerate
sorry if i missed it but yoyr build breakdown shows tal rasha and then the other ring is cd chc and att spd. what is the other ring and aspect. currently in running fireball but i plan to switch as a have a near perfect hourglass i want to try out. @Lurkin17
i’m somewhat confused i have similar gear to your no uber build but the most conjurations i can get out is 13 before they start dropping. what am i doing wrong?
Even if i have the full gear requirement for the pure lightning build i prefer this one, idk what im doing wrong but pure lightning spear feel weaker for me. Full mw x2 ga on all items (i try all the variant)
Pure spear requires crazy masterwork hits to feel good. I’ve built it at 48% CDR and felt terrible. Mekuna makes the strongest sorc builds on the planet, but the gear reqs are always insane
Is this viable with a 0.1 CDR Winterglass, I already found 3 Winterglasses but the game trolls me, all are 0.1 CDR (other stat rolls very good though). Hope it does not rely on LS CDR as much as a pure LS build.
So i tried this but im hard stuck tier 5. No mythic uniques and im pretty much the 0/12 gear example. I have a few 4/12 on. The issue is not damage, but surviving. I can usually make it into 3 waves before dying out. Its really unfortunate but i somehow need to get my hand on a shako and tyrael so i can actually survive 😢
This is something that happened to me when I was playing fireball. I jumped a tier the second I got Shako. Try mage-lord, concentration, and everliving. Warmth tempers help. Shako helped because of keeping ice armor up really. That’s the whole issue
I felt the same, then I masterworked everything I had to 8/12 and could barely do a tier 7, but after barely getting through 2 tier 7s I could masterwork the amulet to 12/12, which helped a whole lot.
tried it and i really like 1h + focus combo, with 100% attack speed its really satisfying to watch, on boss i switched to staff, so i can kill elite/boss faster before they kill me bec im too lazy to dodge lol
Bro...Fractured winterglass + snowveiled + tibaults is cheating. I switched to this build at 77.. it was alright until i added on tibaults. Then it just got stupid. It was like leveling a barb lol For the record.. i dont have any ubers currently
How so. I hit 60 on the dot. Then 40 from esus. The 85 rule is only to proc splintering. Once splintering is procced, the chains have their own crit chance that is not able to utilize the +15 from lightning spear. And frozen orb wants 100 as well. Splintering aspect is NOT lightning spear. They are separate entities the same way blizzard and glacial are separate

@@Lurkin17I get what you’re saying but no way would you be blasting t8 with decent rolls on 8/12 with no mythics. It’s just not gonna happen. Just don’t have the survivability without a % damage reduction tyreals. I have a giga chain lightning build sorc, no winter glass though and I can nuke the though t6 but I have 23k health and I can still get 1 tapped through like a half or quarter barrier and I’m full 8/12 rolled
@@mikeiscoo2This! From what I’ve seen the use of mythical in all these builds is mainly for survivability or to add a bit more DPS to kill things faster. Yeah sure these builds are functional w/o them , but you WILL die a lot easier as a result of not having them. Which, if you can’t even complete content then what’s the point
