For the NEW Version the light colors are different. This video shows the process for the Original / OLD LiteRadio 2 but for changing protocols it appears to be the same. The link to the new Manual is on BetaFPV's website. Feel free to ask questions and I will try to figure it out. thanks support.betafpv.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/4407589940889/Lite_Radio_2_SE-User_Manual-New.pdf
Thank you. I was pissing around with the settings and accidentally changed the protocol on my drone. The controller then wouldn’t reconnect back. This has helped so much thank you
Oh yeah, if you are trying to do something different than default, it's definitely a bit tough going through the opentx software. Hope you figure it out my man
I remember to bind to an xm+ reciever you put it in d16 protocol ( one flash setting) turn on transmitter and it shoukd blink one time pinkish and go blue . Do not push bind yet because it goes into bind mode for only 5 seconds or so . Not enough time sometimes to put the xm+ into bind mode . So first put the xm+ into bind mode by pressing the bind button and holding it down . Keep holding it down while plugging in the drone battery . It might take a few tries . In bind mode the xm+ led lights are blinking red and green i think . It will stay that way until you press the bind button on the orange tx . I think you just oress it once and let go . Then watch the xm+ and orange controller's light until they are done .. a few seconds only i remember on mine . You can unplug the drone and turn off the controller . Next time you turn them on usually you turn on the controller first like a safety thing . Make sure the throttle is down . Plug in the drone and in a few seconds or so when you get a green light on the xm+ you are bound .
Yes, You'll just need to cycle through the same steps until you get the single flash or blink of the pinkish-purple color for this version of the radio.
As long as you got the Moblite 7 with the FrSky receiver and the radio that supports Frsky it will work. You can put the drone into bind mode with the button or in betaflight with the CLI
The safest thing is to ask for a replacement if it is still within the return period. if not, There is a few things I can think of that could be causing it. On my Lite Radio 2 I had a problem with the input so i took it apart and the wires connected to the gimbals were coming off so i had to re-solder it. Another thing to check is by using OpenTX to calibrate the gimbals if they are off center or the range is not right. in the end, it could be the gimbal's potentiometer that might have gone bad and easiest thing to do is to replace the gimbals with something better, which is going to cost a bit more though.
@@rocketshipsandrobotsinterg2184 If you have the new one; if its doing the beep and red light, then turning blue it should be good. If you're using a computer USB port or old charger with low amps that could be why it takes a while to charge and might not be your cord. As for your protocol flashes, its a bit hard but you'll need to make sure you're pressing the BIND and POWER button together at the same time and hold both together until you see the light blink (1, 2, 3, 4, etc times) and that'll indicate which protocol based on whats in your user manual.
@@cinewhoop Thank you very much . Awesome To hear from you . But i think it broke . It is charged . It was charged too . I started transferring it to a t12 . It's lights are on but it doesn't do the blinking pinkish purple 1,2,or3 anymore 🥺😭💀
Transfering the drones away from it i mean . Sometimes lots of this stuff works and is great . Try having as many as you can . They are only with us a short time . This one was orange from a prebuilt tyro 79 + controller with mistakes in the vtx wiring by the factory . They sell circuit boards that fit it . Maybe i will install some of my own ideas . Like a madmans super booster inside the gutted shell HA HA and people will say " its only a orange one . But it will have super powers . Yes . Yes . No one will guess ITS ALIVE .....UTS ALIVE !! *oops said the mad part out loud
Someone else had asked about the lights and it looks like the New Version of the radio is a bit different. According to the Manual, a solid Red light means the throttle is not at 0. If you are able to get it to a Solid Blue, you are able to press the Bind key and get a Flashing Red Light for binding. Here is a link to the manual too from BetaFPV: support.betafpv.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/4407589940889/Lite_Radio_2_SE-User_Manual-New.pdf
Is your radio working? I have the first version of the Lite Radio 2, on the newer versions they could have either removed the green light or changed when the green light turns on.

Hmm Its hard to say why since I haven't had that issue come up. Does any light come on when you try to turn it on normally? And does it still connect with your quad?
