The Pet Parade album is near perfect. Most definitely the record of the year. I cannot stop listening. It gets better and deeper every time. I recently read that The Balcony almost didn't make it onto the album. That would have been heartbreaking.

This song transported me back to my 70s central California toddler years. The bass is killing it here and the slight nod to choral work and folk. It was blissful to hear on the road to Jenner.

It's still great listening that song even 2 years after. That's the difference between crappy prefab super stars and real artists. Crappy prefab songs never last but work of art is.

Here are my thoughts on this lovely song: Sometimes, you want for things to change in your life. They do not always turn out the way you want them to and, eventually, you may lose hope. The truth is that life surprises us. In the blink of an eye, an oportunity, a let down, life or death can happen, and this changes your whole world. Nowadays, it is not easy to have hope for things to become better; for all of you that feel this way, my thoughts are with you and I hope that things get better. That this song may help us all, at least, to have a more cheerful day. Long live EDJ.

Gall darn, this is so awesome! I had tickets to see Fruit Bats in Salt Lake City last year but obviously that got canceled. I'm not much of a concert-goer but I was really looking forward to seeing E.D.J. live and I can't wait 'til things are back to normal.
