Great tour! that's a lot of content. Since i'm from the area I would let you know that Kiwi fruit is also growing wild, since at least a few years. In particular i've found a huge vine (a canopy covering several 20m tall trees, with abundant fruits) on the other side of Monte Baldo. pretty amazing considering it's a very cold and dark forest and still very snowy despite climate change. Its still an invasive species which is not great but ye it's fun finding tasty fruits while walking. Reynoutria, Kudzu and Sicyos on the other hand may be partially edible but they're much more of a threat. The avocadoes on the other hand, i've never noticed them! I'll look for them next time
@@allthefruit nah, I'm stuck here since I got married 7 years ago I left the island only once 😅 I used to fish abroad, from Nubia to Khabarovsky krai... when I was single and freeeee 😂
Ah, I think we have the same bananas growing feral down by the river over here in NZ! I couldn't tell what they were but they have the same tiny fruit. I am pretty sure it is too cold for bananas here generally.
@@allthefruit Yeah people manage to keep ladyfingers alive outdoors in sheltered spots, and further north it is truly subtropical but down here there is no way.
Yes, there is pike there, but not the common northern pike Essox lucius, it's the southern pike, Essox cisalpinus which is restricted to that general area. A much prettier pike with beautiful patterns.
