Oh Emma. Life goes on as normal all around,it doesn't stop because we're going through trauma. I remember thinking this during our last year,which I've told you about. "How can life be continuing as normal when all this is going on? I'm having to shop for food, pay bills, and generally carry on ,when just up the road,feet away,(wherever I was at the time) this awful thing is happening. " it didn't seem real. I'd look at people walking by and just think,this is so strange, that life doesn't stand still for any man,no matter what. Your vlogs are going to be about normal life and every day things ,of course they are,your life has not stood still. You have to carry in ,and do you know what,that's fine,in fact it's good ,it's what you need to do. But, you can also carry on the fight for Sooz, and everything and do it all between the tears and grief. Anyone who says or thinks otherwise is an absolute moron and I hope they never experience just a fraction of what you are going through. Don't heed others ,particularly negative people. Do what you need to do and how you need to do it ,and in your own time. Thinking of you and your family ❤❤
This is the truest words I've seen written because this is exactly how it is. How dare the world carry on when you have lost your darling Mum & Sister I remember yelling and swearing at my next door neighbour for mowing his lawns the morning my Mum died. There isn't a right way Emma there is only your way sweetheart ❤️
A therapist once told me that crying saved my life. I’ve been a crier and had major anger as a child due to childhood trauma. Now I’m on so many meds to level me out, I can hardly cry anymore. It’s slowly starting to creep back in at 57, and I am grateful for a good cry! It helps more than you know. 🙏🏻😘

Emma i understand your pain. Its like everyone is happy and no one knows your broken heart. I also liss my husband to cancer 3 years ago and it still feels like yesterday people think im okay but im not. Now my furry baby girl a( chihuahua) of 16 years old passed away last month of cancer. I miss my baby so much and her sister also is grieving wondering where is she. What helps me is that my husband from heaven came to take her Bella home. We will see our love one again Emma sending you a big hug ❤

It's good to see you and Ash enjoying being together in that beautiful place. Listen sweetie, grief and memories sneak in when you're least expecting them. It's all normal feelings. Everything you feel is normal grieving. I know you want to be calling them and sending pictures of your lovely vacation spots, teasing and joking and just talking to them. I remember starting to the phone when I lost my loved ones, forgetting for just a moment that I couldn't call them, they weren't there. You gave everything you had to help them Emma, you were an amazing advocate and support. It's hard wrapping your head around not being 'needed' as a caregiver anymore. I was my husbands caregiver for his last 5 years. After he passed, I felt I lost my purpose in life . Then I finally realized I was the rememberer, and if I had been the one to go first, I would have wanted him to carry on with a happy life in time. That's what Sooz and your dear Mama would want for you now. Just keep swimming, the waves of grief will carry you back to shore. Time doesn't heal all wounds, but it gives us the chance to heal with scars and carry on. Sending you warm hugs.

Glad "the suitcase" has turned up!!Now he can relax and have fun. What you've been through is a lot for your mind to process and you're struggling to come to terms with it all.And the moments of sudden grieving are going to catch you at any moment unawares. You can literally go from laughter to tears in a second __all of this is normal and it's ok. Even though the grief feels uncomfortable it's the right way for the healing to go. It will get easier with time I promise!I think your mum and Sooz are popping in now and then with you on holiday enjoying the sun and sky and sea (and probably the odd pina colada too!)It looks wonderful where you are. I honestly don’t remember who I lost when I wondered why the whole world wasn’t grieving with me? My first big loss was my 53 yr old brother. He was my best friend.😢 Second loss was my Mother 4 years later. My baby sister in 2009, and Then my only 1st cousin in 2011, followed by my husband the same year. 😢 My dad passed 3 years later, and my big sister last year followed by my precious dog of 13 years. 😢😢😢But life goes on I’ve certainly learned. Remember Emma, crying is how we heal. I just went down to the river where we live in the mountains and do our annual acknowledgement of my son and sister who died unexpectedly 4 yrs. and 4 days apart, Aug. 2, and Aug. 6, today, my son has been gone 15 yrs. and we throw all of the hydrangea petals I pick in the morning, had 2, 5 gal. buckets full and throw them off the bridge slowly and all the people swimming down below look up and wonder what we are doing. I tell them we are remembering our son and sister and have people climb up the rocks to the bridge to tell us how beautiful it is to remember them that way. The river and pools of crystal clear water begin to fill with purple and blue petals as people get out their Go-Pros and video them swimming through this magical scene. Every year is just as magical as the year before and we always leave with a smile and our hearts lightened more. This is the first year I didn't cry. It felt so wonderful. Tears are just fine sweetie.
They are with you on holiday, they are happy you are living your life, and don't want you to be sad. They know you will be sad and sometimes it will be harder than others but they want you to live your life knowing they will always be with you. They miss you too Emma, big hugs to you!

Oh Em I feel you. When you’re grieving you feel guilty that you’re enjoying life while your loved one can’t any longer. Then I dreamt of mum telling me I was silly cos she was happy where she was. She was no longer in pain and whole again. That gave me so much comfort that she came to me to tell me that and it really helped. That’s not to say I don’t still have my moments of crying uncontrollably because I long to see her talk to her and comfort her. That yearning never goes away but I do know this…the grieving club that we have no choice but to belong to is one where we are there for each other always. You’re never alone Em..you have all of us to come to and be yourself with. We all understand this new heartbreaking journey we all must travel xx

Catching up on what I’ve missed. Hope you’re enjoying that holiday, Em; it looks so lovely. Of course it doesn’t erase the pain of all you’ve gone thru. And yes, please watch the alcohol intake. It would set me off for years after my mom died and it took a while for me to realize the connection. It is a depressant after all, and has the ability to send you spiraling when otherwise you would have been okay in the moment. Take care; love you ❤

Sweetheart...baby. Yes crying helps. It definitely comes in waves but the waves don't crash as often . Thank you for the grocery tour. Alot of their beauty products like hair dyes were 3 dollars cheaper I could tell. Plus Nivea skin care was cheaper too than here in the States. I've never had a dragon fruit, have you? The breakfast and dinner looked really good what a spread. The pair of flowy shorts you looked at in the gift shop are those the one you had on an earlier video? They were pretty, had tassels around the legs. With the black tank top. Thank you for the tour. ❤❤❤ Lovely girl.
