Take your like but kind of slightly disagree. Vapor wave is nostalgic by nature. Frutiger Aero is nostalgic given the horrible circumstances we live in. We failed the future Frutiger Aero promised us. While vaporwave exists out of the realization that a certain past is gone. We look back at FA. VW looks back at us.

I dont know why but analog aquatics just. . . it made me feel like i was young again, listening to the soundscapes of 7th gen consoles and dreams, old internet in jokes and flash games, made me look back at the fact in the past we had it good, it may have stumbled and fell at points but we had it good and now. . . now I just feel like we've lost something, something we can describe but we know it when it hits us. Write down those memories while you still can, cause one day that maybe all that's left of them aside from a faint feeling of peace.

For some odd reason Aquarium by LCDDEM gave me the oddest, most pleasurable sensation I have ever experienced in my life.
