Oh, thanks, mate! For those who need it - the connector for the battery voltage has a pin layout GND, VCC, GND. So if you (like me) "displace" the wires, you can use any 3pin connector and use the middle wire to connect to VCC. Again, thanks a lot, works like a charm on my quad.
Wow and here I was trying to look up ia6b telemetry mod videos.... When the RX that came with my i6x is already compatible. Lol. I'm loving my flysky more and more. Thanks man cheers!
Joe Lupo r u using 3s lipos or 4s personally i got both and no point going for 3s really, only reasin i mention is that you have to set the voltage alarm on the controller differently for 3s or 4s il do another vid to show you how if u msg us when u get it, ive never had a drone before and this wizard x220 is brilliant
I ordered 4S lipos. I bought one of those battery voltage tester/buzzers to stick on it. I didn't realize the i6X had telemetry, though I'll be wearing goggles. I also saw that you can add a buzzer and enable vbat monitoring on the FC. Not sure what is best there.
Joe Lupo doesnt matter if your wearing goggles as controller sounds an alarm but adding a buzzer has a few uses 1 as a low battery buzzer i dont use that now as it shows on the controller and 2 most important as a lost model buzzer / fail safe which u can set in betaflight to sound if u flick a switch but also if u loose signal it automatically sounds and it also stops the motors so it doesnt fly away, i did the same as u bought 1 of the testers but only use it now to check battery voltage when batterys are off the quad to c what volts they are for storage so they dont knacker up
Joe Lupo yeah deffo get a buzzer there about £3 off ebay, i used these settings from this guy ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BbQuxoHBVZI.html in betaflight for buzzer failsafe and mode switches you have to bear in mind the vbat voltage need to be for a 4s battery so never go below 3.5volts per cell i.e 3.5v x 4s= 14volts or u knacker the batterys so i set mine for alarm to go off at 3.7 per cell so give u time to get it back to you, better off updating flashing escs when u get it aswell dead easy to do all u need is a std micro usb lead to usb download the google chrome app betaflight and bl heli app for updating escs
Thank you very much! I've been looking for this and finally found yours, helped me here! I will try this next week on my first build. Glad you could hold that camera straight just enough for me to be able to see where to plug those wires into ;-) P.S.: And thanks also for the useful answers down below about 3S and 4S voltage!!
If that lead going to the X6B is simply carrying the raw voltage from the battery, could I also just solder it to the power distribution board as well to get the voltage telemetry? I'm not using your flight controller, so I figure it's just as easy to wire directly to the PDB for battery voltage. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the video, can I also connect the wire from where I connected the Lipo to the PDB(would be the same as connecting the lipo directly to this little port) to the port at the receiver?
