I can't believe with all the informative videos on RU-vid, hes the only person who does palm tree videos. Keep producing videos so I can stay sane after I moved from Florida to Ohio!
I want to mention the Phoenix rupicola 'Cliff Date Palm' with the light green leaves behind me at the start of the video. This is a great palm to have in a palm collection, especially for the Phoenix genus! Also a correction to the Trithrinax acanthocoma var. brasiliensis, I was informed by George Baker of the correct identification he is a friend palm collector and grower of mine.
Hello David awesome videos been watching your vids trying to educate myself I'm a new home owner in central Florida I've noticed the palms they planted have turned brown is there anything I can do or just replace it or can I still use palm fertilizer to revive it
You can find Southern AG Liquid Palm Nutritional at Home Depot, Lowe's and some Garden Centers carry it. Palm Nutritional can be used as a Foliar Spray, mix 4 cap fulls of product into 1 gallon of water. The entire palm tree can be sprayed, as well as an application poured into the ground around the base of the tree. It is like liquid vitamins faster reaction than slow release granular fertilizer!
