I’m a Nole who was born in NYC grew up in Miami, lived in Atlanta and currently lives in Baton Rouge. I’ve worked in nearly every SEC town. I’m telling you that we really don’t want to spend a weekend there. Baton Rouge after Nashville is the biggest of those places and it’s no picnic. Sure as hell don’t want to spend a lot of time in Mississippi. For the most part these are small towns without a lot of hotel options and flying is rough. All I can say is pray for the Big Ten.
I'm a B1G meeeechigan ham and have several family members that graduated from Michigan and we want FSU and Clemson in the B1G! Come on over! Just make good friends in the big with the presidents and AD'S!
I read today that both Notre Dame and FSU have a relationship with Legends. Might this association enable ND and FSU to enter B1G as a pair. B1G wants ND, and pairing with them would help overcome FSU's shortcomings (AAU, endowment, research, etc.). Just a thought. . .
@@oldad3692 FSU will never be offered to join the B1G. No AAU accreditation equal no membership. Plus, FSU’sneed of Private equity cash, which is why they already paid JP Morgan, will push them to Big 12.
There's no pair with ND that doesn't include Stanford. But yes, FSU needs a travel partner. Miami should be an option because they're close to ND and the B1G.
Even if ND and Stanford join the Big Ten, Big Ten would still want to get into the southeast. FSU and someone else would be great. Don't worry Cary. The Big Ten still needs to get into the south. FSU is still a major target for them.
Mississippi State is in Starkville. Not Ole Miss. They are in Oxford. also.. USC and UCLA are both Los Angeles… there isn’t a Big Ten school in San Diego.
38:19 - Exactly! They will screw them over and double down on the "they can't win in the big league" narrative. There is a difference between fans being biased about calls and recognizing that FSU repeatedly gets victimized by bad calls. Both can be true.
Sec refs have an agenda and carry out their marching orders. Sec don't care about no one but Bama Uga Lsu. Fsu would be Little Brother and treated like red headed step child Tennessee
I see the lawyer on multiple RU-vid Channels. Still waiting for him to tell the FSU fans the truth about their situation, and not some pie in the sky hope. (Great marketing strategy though.)
Its hard to take you seriously especially when you speak about Miami when you say stupid shit like UCF should be over Miami. FSU getting relegated to the Big 12 after pitching a fit for over a year, is gonna hit like crack and ill be back to laugh at you 😂😂😂
The elitism on display here is astounding. Any logical person would analyze all the variables and conclude FSU has significantly under performed in the 21st century. The attitude im catching here is what I would expect from a fan of Bama or UGA.
😅😂 21st century FSU 2 national Championships UGA 2 Bama stands alone. FSU has been as competitive as anyone else this century period. They are currently in a fantastic position on the rise lol.
Around a year ago I picked up on some of these movements that were going on regarding Florida State taking action against their conference declaring they were “leaving”. I quickly found a few FSU contacts online (RU-vid mostly) and asked them what was going on as I wasn’t aware Florida State was in talks to join a new conference. No one had an answer for me and instead made the point that FSU “couldn’t compete” on a national level while being a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. This struck me as strange because in all previous cases of universities leaving an athletic conference, there was a clear and confirmed landing spot which had been disclosed months prior. I then watched this conference call by FSU administrators and like Christian Ponder maybe? It was incredibly embarrassing for the university as the claims that were made that day will never be recoverable in regards to FSU’s relationship to their conference. If Florida State’s goal is to make their way into either the Big 10 or SEC they need to realize that they’re probably 8-9th in the pecking order when you group all the ACC and Big 12 schools together. There’s nothing wrong with that. Where FSU screwed up was with the devastating remarks, lawsuits and general actions against their conference and conference brethren. It’s sad because Florida State really was a great program once and it’ll never be again.
Lmao As far as what? As far as national contenders outside of the BIG10 & SEC there are only 3 and FSU is currently leading the pack by all measurables though Clemson has certainly had more success recently besides 2023.
