FTX Gladius. Fusion SE upgrade

Upgraded the stock motor and ESC for a Hobbywing fusion SE 1800. The lack of low down control of the stock ESC was pants so instead of HW1080 ESC decided to go this route. The slow modulation is night and day. I Can't recommend this enough. This is first short day out trying it out. Our other Gladius is still running stock motor so will be interesting putting these side by side to compare. Dont forget to subcribe so you dont miss that one.

Nice shakedown. Looks like the 1800 is very well suited to the Gladius. I might try the 1200 just becasue I have one LOL

Brilliant, been waiting to see if someone fits one of these. The 1200 will modulate even slower and you could get your wheel speed back if needed by gong 3S. As a point of interest the Pro2300 modulates even slower with not a hint of cogging. Fusions are the best and most simple set up out there. Love the smooth gentle driving.

Hi Thomas. Great feedback thanks. Do you have a Gladius? I agree the Fusions are the best and very easy to set up. Glad you liked it. I Just fit a new body and Injora inserts so been out testing those.

No, Capra's and Enduro's , all Fusion 2300, was going to get a Gladius but saw an Ebay Fury Xtreme so bought it, now having replaced all the unmentioned broken parts and fitted a Gladius gearbox to get the contra rotation requiring shorter front prop and a Geo rear axle case to reversethe rear crownwheel, element grey springs etc. i should have bought the Gladius as it would have been a lot cheaper. Have fitted the Fusion 1200 but wont know how it performs until the axle case arrives.@@DaddyDaughterRC-sw2zb

Thank you. Wow what a difference it makes. I am loving it. Mine has just gotten new body too. My daughter has a Gladius also and definitely doing same engine upgrade on that too.

This Fusion transform the Ride and performance of the RCs! I have one 1800kv in my Wife RGT and is a Blast....

@@pandacrawler6x6 couldn't agree more. You will have to get one for yours so you can keep up with your wife😂. Battery life now means I can go out for couple of hours with just one battery.
