i had the plastic version of that gearbox in my kanyon not long after i got it and since i got the planetary gear reduction the gears stripped out so i bought one of these lol. i love the way the front cap unscrews for easier access to the slipper clutch lol. love what youve done to the kanyon.
Only got into rc`s 2 weeks ago and have a kanyon coming tomorrow. Watched loads of vids on here and I have to say this is one of the best and easiest to follow. Nice one pal :-)

Thanks lou 😊👍It's a ftx kanyon 1/10xxl lol more like 1/8 cheep really but the bumper brackets are quite big an only held on with 2 tiny screws so people have use ali rail to strengthen them
Keep to 2s lipo nothing biger are ull snap drive halfs for fun an burn out ur motors quick and get fed up like I did, kanyon been sat for a year broken 🤣rcw4d 45t motor are reasonable
@@SpringWoodsRC What is a decent charger for the s2 lipo batteries not to expensive though as I'm just starting out ind I've bought the kanyon as a first car......thanks for any information and advice
I wouldn't really know pal I just use a cheep one that I can connect to a 12v battery think it's a hobbywing digital one was about £15 charges pritty quick
