Did you start the car before you removed the fuel pump? After you brought your new battery?

It is very common to mess that oring. Between me and my friends there are 4 subarus, and 3 messed up the oring after putting new pumps. If you have gas smell.. you knkw where itt's from.

Hey man! I know this is an old video, but is this the same process for the Impreza outback? I’m thinking I’m having fuel pump issues, misfiring and it feels like a fuel cut. After 230k miles I think it needs changed anyway

Get that sub outta there. MayB get that valve tap checked out next. They can be adjusted.
