I worked this taping...trust and believe, it was love all over the place in there! I worked with the talent booker and they were the ONLY group ever allowed to use so many samples, and with no notice. We had no idea they were going to do that. I heard clearance was like hell, but the performance was so hot the producers just ate it for the sake of the show. Their performance continued backstage, outside on 126th. It was nice, real nice.
Man listen… The Score is still in my humble opinion a Hip Hop musical masterpiece from start to finish. How Many Mics and Zealots… they were spitting GOSPEL! Period!!

At 1:13 was Lauren for real free styling? If this was, it's one of the most epic free styles I've ever seen. I actually remember watching this when I was 16 and was blown away by this performance. And still watching. I miss the Fugees. So much talent on that stage!
