Hello everyone!
Got my hands on the X100VI last week and headed out for a quick hike - double the adventure! 35mm has always been a bit tricky for me, so I brought along my trusty WLC100 II for backup. But you know what? 28mm just feels right, especially for videos!
Got my settings sorted in a snap - 4K 24p HQ F-Log, and I was good to go! With my experience with previous X100 series, it was like slipping back into a comfortable pair of shoes. Within 10 minutes, muscle memory kicked in, and it was like I never left. Not much has changed since the last version, but hey, if it ain't broke...
Most of the shots were handheld, but shoutout to my table tripod for keeping things steady when needed - it's a lifesaver! And having a mini tripod along is always a smart move.
As for whether I'll keep or sell this camera, I'm still on the fence. Don't get me wrong, it's stylish, and the video quality? Impressive! But when it comes down to it, my R6 still holds the crown for ergonomics and flexibility.
Take a peek at the footage and let me know your thoughts! 🎥
Cheers!
