I am a minimalist filmmaker/photographer who likes to be in nature. I believe in light and composition... Everything else is background noise to me.
This channel is mainly for the videos I shoot during our very limited days off. Some of them are shot under 30 mins and edited in less than an hour. So please move to another channel if you wanna see technically perfect videos. I love making videos since I was a kid. This was way before digital cameras. I was borrowing our neighbor's film camera to shoot vlogs of my friends. Good old days...
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the channel!
Cheers!

Hey Thanks for watching! Those shots were actually a test I was doing for an upcoming trip. I was debating if I should bring the RF 35 with me or X100VI would pretty much be enough for my photos. Fare enough even with pixel peeping I can get them look pretty much the same with simple editing. Decided to leave the RF 35 home and get the X100VI with me.
Hey! Thank you for tagging along. I just go to amazing places when the light is beautiful. Rest is easy. I am sure you can create similar or even better videos in the future! Cheers to Brazil! I love Brazil because of my amazing friends from Brazil and also Claudio Taffarel who played for Galatasaray and became a legend!
Amazing video man ❤ I noticed some kind of r6 ibis wobble ( it's not visible) but wantedd to ask you where the wobble isn't visible anymore , at 20 mm + or 35 mm + for example? ( I know at 16 mm it's visible)
Hey Thank you! Actually the thing you are noticing is not the IBIS, it is the horrible rolling shutter that R6 has. I do not use IBIS. But from my IBIS wobble experience usually if you go under 20mm, wobble pretty much clears up. Especially with a lens like 15-35mm since it is heavier and also has IS on the lens.
Got you bro thanks , so at 24 mm + ibis there's no problem wobbling , i am asking cz i want to buy an r6 mark 2 , do you think its has rolling shutter problem also ? @@barparildar
@@7ajjarr No problem! It totally depends on how you would use the camera. R6 is really not a camera to move around without any type of gimbal. If you are doing static handheld shots and minimal movement, IBIS works great for 24mm and above. But any type of movement with the camera, you will see really really bad rolling shutter effects. If you are planning to do walking shots I would definitely look at other options. I think R6 ii readout speed is better than mark i but I still wouldn't use it if you are doing a lot of moving shots
@@7ajjarr Anytime! I just checked the 4K 24P readout speed of R6ii it is almost 2x better than R6. You might get by with minimal movement without the crazy jello effect but yeah if you are planning to use for a lot of movement I would probably check out different brands. If you are like me using tripod or very static handheld shots most of the time R6 ii should be great!
Thanks for watching! If there is not a very specific thing you are missing, upgrading to another camera usually is not the best idea. Glad I could help potentially saving some money :)
I broke the zoom ring of my RF 15-35mm :( Kind of scared to check how much it will cost to repair. But I don't feel like I am missing too much with my back ups.
Canim Babacim, biliyorsun bu Guney Bati Amerika sevdamin sorumlusu sensin :) Western filmleri izleyerek buyudugum icin oralarda gidince evime gelmis gibi oluyorum.
R6 applies in camera corrections to videos which gets rid of most of the defects. If you check the raw files you'll be able to find all sorts of imperfections.
I hate watching so many videos of people that consider themselves too profesional that try and discourage someone from using a camera for video or whatever they like pointing out the flaws all the time, I just came from watching a video saying don’t even think about using this r6 for videos only photography and this is a real humble set up but the image quality is amazing so your video made me feel like it’s going to be more than ok thank you I love the quality for sure feel like a gimbal would take it to the next level for sure but it’s not entirely necessary ima stick to this camera and get the same lenses for now
Really perfect storytelling, low-key and involving in a subtle way. I bought that lens a couple of weeks ago and returned it after getting an EF 35mm f1.4 L lens. Just re-ordered it for B&H for only $199 because I missed its simplicity and freedom. Limits inspire creativity.
Your choice of music reminds me of 'The Roar Ceasing' by Lawrence English from his album 'The Peregrine' which was inspired by the book also called 'The Peregrine' by J A Baker. Lawrence captured the true beauty and wonder of that book in a very special way. You too have that magic with your videos. :)
@@barparildar Video from the final track of the album. A very dreamy and evocative ending. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YS-Y_Oix7Ds.html
This place is really nice, It's the most beautiful place there is and I think it's my favorite place in the world. Look around you, There are so many forests, There are big meadows, There are big waterfalls and There are big mountains. The view from the top of those mountains must be very beautiful, Those mountains are high and Mountains make nature amazing. Thank you very much for sharing this vlog with us, I really appreciate all of this. 👍☺️🇺🇸🗽
I really appreciate your beautiful comment. Yosemite is so beautiful. I can't get enough of it. First time I visited was 2011 and I made a promise my self to go there every year multiple times if possible. So far I have been successful :) I would easily spend couple years there if I got the chance.
I've been following your videos for a while, love them!! Would love for you to try a cinema camera for the next one - the Blackmagic Pro6k or the Red Komodo. I think it will be a game changer. Is the voice over written and performed my AI ? I think it takes away from the video, IMHO.
Hey thanks a lot for following along! If someone sends me a cinema camera why not :) To be honest this channel is mostly about humble minimal setups. I am using the same camera for nearly 4 years now. It is more than enough for my style of filmmaking.
