i think the reason why shisui isnt supreme grade is simply because oda didnt want zoro to wield a supreme grade at such an early time in the story i bet that if shisui was in wano it wouldve been a supreme grade

As for name, I wanted to focus on the connection to the gorosei and the celestial dragons. So I did a bit of research (I don't know japanese at all so the translation could be super off) and ended up with Rōsei Meiyo no Ha (should be pronounced Roh-sei Mei-yoh no Ha) which (if I understood everything correctly) means "Edge of the Honor of the Stars".

Another idea I had about Figarland's potential Saijo blade is that it will be named ChunJun or Chungou which translates to purity and was said to resemble a row a stars tying to Garling's lunar style.

Personally, my head cannon When it comes to the Meto system The highest grade a Swordsmith can create is a Great Grade Blade/Ōwazamono but in order to reach Supreme Great Blade/Saijō Ōwazamono The user must take it's reputation and do great feats with it *(needs to be somewhat recorded/known I guess)* just like pirates and marines are known for their feats/strengths the sword must also be known *(as if it's a separate entity.... Could also relate to being a Black Blade?)* Probably harder for random blades with no name to reach any reputation, hence no name, so you have to treat them like it's a person. It's not impossible, I'm sure whenever a person starts to gather reputation for himself people would start talking "have you heard of Will the Pirate?" "Oh yea! He cuts down his enemies in a flash!" "I wonder if his sword is famous too!" Since this is OP where objects.... Like Ships, can have a name and a soul, why not swords.

I like the idea Kaido specifically didn't want a special weapon because he honored a persons strength more than their weapon or fruit. He probably just shaped an iron bar that was laying around

My head cannon based on how Riuma's blade appears in both manga and anime is that supreme grade swords are the only ones that can turn fully black, and that lesser blades can never become fully black. Just head cannon but it would make sense. It takes a master swordsman to turn a blade black, but only a supreme grade blade can be fully turned black. Also, did you notice how Buggy's nr. 2 is the only swordsman beyond Riuma who keeps his blade always black?

16:56 I came up with the idea that when Issho could still see and such, we knew he still had a sense of honor because that sense of honor is what caused him to blind himself, what if in that sense of Honor he was Noble enough to realize that in the right circumstances a sword should almost never be used and so as opposed to giving it an elaborate battle ready guard and putting it within a proper scabbard and etc, what if him just carrying around the sword in essentially its storage container is just him signifying that violence should be a last resort

Katanas makers mark is actually in the hilt. It's engraved into the tang. You have to disassemble the handle in order to tell if it's a legitimate sword or not. So it actually does make sense for any identifying part of the blade (asides from it being a black blade) would be within the hilt :3

Still waiting on that Momonga video Tekking :) I do think it's possible that Hasaikai is a ranked weapon but I won't really count on it being the case until a non bladed weapon gets ranked

Thing about the sword gods sword is maybe it was a more regular sword that he had for so long that it became legendary but wasnt forged to the highest quality

I don't know about trusting that there are only 82 weapons of that power level. Tashigi's guide may have only listed 82, but that just means the person who wrote the guide only knew about 82. It can't really account for any blades that were lost ages ago and assumed destroyed or that were recently created or are wielded by people whose existence is secret (Imu, Gods Knights, Man Marked By Flames) or well-- the person who wrote the guide just flat out never encountered the weapon and tested it.

We need a video on all the characters who's last names we don't know yet. Usopp/Yassop, Nami, Brook, Sabo, Buggy, Crocodile, Koby, Smoker, Tashigi, the admirals, Laffiette, Shiryu, Kaido, Marco etc.

Although it’s likely not a Saijo, but Aramaki/Greenbull has a sword to. Could be used in tandem with his powers or just to look cool lol

I expect Isshou to have one. He's the Blind Swordsman/Samurai. He's an Admiral, and he is the only one of his Generation without a Logia. He also admits the Skill and presence of a Master Swordsman if not a Grandmaster of Kenjutsu.

I think that Issho blinded himself due to the God Valley incident or the blinding himself likely due to a warlord due to his distain of the system due to the depravity of this warlords activity. or whatever causes the chaos on that small island of Vira which the revolutionaries took over which I believe is where Issho grew up.

Fujitora probably gained that sword from gambling.

The next two confirmed Supreme blades are probably going to be St Venus Shodai Kitetsu and St Figureland's Excalibur/Ekusukariba. This would be my guesses the remaining Supreme Blades and their whereabouts: 8 Gryphon-Shanks 9 Ragnarok-Giant in elbaf 10 The Gada-previous Joyboy and probably resides somewhere in Elbaf(i can see this weapon being able to change shape) 11Masamune-Holy knights 12 Joyeuse-Holy knights

Might be a weird opinion, but I kinda hope we don’t get all 12 Saizo weapons revealed, and for that matter, all 21 O wazamono weapons. I like the world to have some things out there that have mystery and intrigue.

There isn't one Zatoichi movie. There are over 20 Zatoichi movies all worth a watch. The blade Fugitora is based on the sword cane Zatoichi uses.

I feel pretty positive that Garlint is going to have one of the remaining Saijos. I also used to think Rayleigh had one hidden away somewhere but I've been starting to doubt that idea. Loki or his father could have a Saijo. Given how ancient and mighty giants are. Only other thing i can think of is just really want Tashigi to claim one before the story is over.

I’m not a big fan of Issho’s sword being the highest grade. It made sense with the yonko having swords of that grade, but at this point it’s becoming painfully obvious that Oda is just retroactively selecting swords to make high grade. I’ll bet by the end of the series Rayleigh’s sword and Scopper’s axes will be in the highest grade.
