I should have gone to Akron to buy my 2024 MDX there. My lousy salesman had me download the Acura link but couldn't get it to work. My MDX had 'fallout' on the paint which the salesman never looked over. He simply handed me the keys. As I was about to drive off, he motioned for me to roll down the window. He then reminded me about the survey and asked for all 10's and to refer him to my friends. YEA RIGHT.... PLEASE....
I’ve been watching your channel since 2021. I wish my local dealer was like yours. They had one of the higher market adjustments during the shortage. We took delivery of a 2024 MDX last week from another dealer. The dealer experience was great. This video helped us learn how to set everything up as I elected to not have the salesperson teach us since we were already familiar with the 2021 TLX we traded in. Glad to see Acura gave us 3 years of remote start instead of the 1 year we got with the 2021. Also pleased with the included 24 months of maintenance. Thanks
Well done and very informative. Have owned a 2024 Type S Advance for six months and learned a few things even today. My delivering dealer was nowhere this thorough - thanks! One thing we did discover is that, if you don't care for the idle stop feature, it can be set in the "individual" mode to be always disabled when in that mode.
Could you guys do one of these for the 2025 MDX. Loved the format and the long video. All of the RU-vid MDX videos are like 10 mins and not very in depth. Thanks!
I just took delivery of a 2024 MDX and could barely follow the salesman. I actually took my ipad out to the car and followed along with you to set it up. Still some things I’d like to customize, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out. Thanks so much! Very thorough.
Thank you for your video. I just purchased the MDX Advance model today and the salesman showed me the bare minimum on how to operate the features or change settings. You saved me potentially hours going thru the owners manual.
Awesome delivery and so helpful. This is my 5th Acura (previously owned 3 TSX and 1 TLX). One thing I am missing on my new Aspec MDX is the trip TIME odometer. Ad a realtor, it was a very helpful tool to Guage trip travel time to a clients new home, which I used all the time. I believe this is missing on the new trip computer or am I just missing it? Again, great delivery 👍
Great video! I’m finishing up doing my research on which MDX to purchase. Think the A-Spec will work for me! Now just thinking of waiting a few weeks for the 2024 to arrive at my Acura dealership.
Thank you so much for this video! It actually won me over. I have been very hesitant because of the track pad, but you actually explained it so well. So in love with this MDX!
Hey thanks for your video. Lots of neat things I didn’t know. Do you happen to know if you could make a setting shortcut to the Home Screen? Particularly I want to quickly change the audio zone to the rear only then back to full vehicle.
In canada, on the A-spec that i just got, has the button to close the tailgate as you walk away. The button that is missing here beside the power outlet in the trunk.
I was doing the exact same thing. Wound up purchasing the MDX Type S Advance (Lunar Silver/Azurite Blue) No regrets after 6+ months of ownership. Can't beat the combination of the overall look, performance, technology, safety & value.
Good info thanks! Please remember it is Not good to leave the fog lights On all the time, think of these like high beams but for foggy conditions, that is please turn your Fog lights off when other cars are approaching, just as you would turn of the High beams. :) be kind to the other drives
Thank you for this video. My first thought is at 26:55. I think I heard you guys say that at least some parts of the MDX can be updated over the air, is that right? Perhaps the top speed of the speedometer could be set to something more reasonable, like, say, 100 mph (vs 160 mph, which I don't think the MDX could do, even the Type S.) At 29:14, the distance indicator should be right in the center, in front of the icon of the vehicle, not over to the right. Surely that's not patented is it? That's how Toyota and Subaru display the distance setting. The touch pad doesn't look that hard to use, except for if you are on a bumpy road or uneven surface - it's hard enough to poke an icon on a big infotainment screen when the car is moving let alone a much smaller touch pad.
I've been trying to look up the stats but can't find them but how are the MDX Type S selling? Are they hard to find or once they hit the lot they get sold?
I have a Mdx with advance package. When I press the APPS button, the menu only shows on the heads up display instead of on the dashboard. Is that normal?
Is it possible to change the view and remove the small right screen and make whatever you have on the left screen take up the entire width?? It would be so much nicer to have one big, full screen.
Thanks for this. I have a 23 MDX aspec and the multi display instrument panel on the right side always defaults to trip computer when starting the car. Also after finishing a phone call the B screen on the centre console defaults back to music. Are these normal? Please advise and thank you.
Why am I unable to click my backup camera into different views, and my backup sensor is no longer alerting me when a car is pulling up on ne anymore. My parking button is on.
You disabled the rear cross traffic monitoring. Which you can do on the screen. The rear cross traffic monitor is not linked to parking sensors, it's linked to the blind spot indicator.
A-spec is missing 360 backup camera and heated steering wheel. It is a joke that you have to go to 70k model to get these features in a 61k+ car. For the same reason I am not going to jump from my Lexus RX450h F-Sport to Acura MDX A-Spec.
@@montu25 The dealership you purchased it from should be able to help you out with that. Or we can 😃! My accessory sheet shows they are $739+tax including installation. Let me know if we can help in any way and CONGRATULATIONS to you !!!
