would you say Lazer Pro Sports leather is better than Aria? just asking because LPS is the original ice-cream glove brand, and if their leather is better i dont see why Aria gets promoted so much for an unoriginal design which isnt as good
I would love to see another 3rd base glove review because the #3 glove for 3rd base on your glove list is no longer being produced. Maybe the Jose Ramirez a2000? just would love to see a #3 third base glove that could be purchased. I really enjoyed player break-ins, and I would love shortstop and third base again. thx for the fantastic work you do! this video was awesome and I loved watching all of it.
@@user-kk9cl4le7i. what does he have at #3? if its the David Wright model (DW5) it is also listed as a JR11 when featuring Jose Ramirez's design. they are the same glove but when a model is named after a player (like the MC26 being Matt Chapman's design on a 1787 model), it just means that is the design that player wanted for that specific glove. Jose Ramirez also has worn numerous brands and models in his career
BGK, thank you for responding on my 1975 a2000 comment during the live chat, I really appreciated it , I hope you see this message too, and I want you to know that you are one of my favorite RU-vidrs of all time
-I don't play baseball -I haven't touched a glove since T-ball in '98 -The _only_ sport i partook in throughout Elementary/Middle/High school, was Marching Band(fight me) -Nothing about the sport itself has anything that draws me into it(not surprising. After 20 years of sitting in the stands for football/volleyball/basketball games(marching/Pep band), i was so NOT drawn in by the game, that it took me almost 10 years to realize that the teams *switch fuckin sides* halfway through) -I'm slightly autistic with *hEavy* ADHD, so sitting still(let alone keeping focus) for 90 minutes is a task and a half for me -i will take _nOThing_ from this upload, and use none of this information in my life, *whatsoever* ....And yet i watched this whole damn video, completely enthralled.
What you said about snug on the hand gloves at the end is the main reason why I use fast pitch gloves in slow pitch. I have pretty small hands and I feel like the glove is just more secure that way it’s also why I’ve moved away from 14 inch gloves in the outfield
It's surprising that the Ichiro Haga performed well in softball game. Japan glove pattern has distinct borderline between baseball and softball and I can't imagine a baseball glove like Ichiro Haga, usually with narrower width on the pocket and palm, should fit softball well. Is that A51 pattern?
They only made them for a couple of years but the Rawlings revo sc950 was one of the most uniquely designed glove patterns i have seen from Rawlings. If you ever find a deal on one it was a solid mid-tier glove.
I literally just received the latest Mizuno Haga "Old Faithful" 11.5 inch glove. Beautiful glove, very well made, but I was so disappointed in the fact that it didnt fit my hand at all. I couldnt get my hand inside. Looked like a kids glove. My hand isnt even that big. I had my brother try it on as he has a narrower hand and even he couldnt get it on. I ripped the skin off my thumb nuckle trying to get it on. I REALLY wanted to keep this glove forever but I had to return it. I wonder if their other Haga gloves are the same.
@@dylanruff2042 I have plenty experience with gloves. I have 25 of them and not a single one of them are anywhere near as small as that Mizuno. Its weird how small they made it.
I am looking for a recommendation on both an outfield glove of my 11yr old and an infield glove. He has a Steelo now and it's time to look for new gloves as he is now playing a lot of travel ball. I did see your website but I don't know if these recommendation are still good for youth. Can you help?
Hey man, I’m a new subscriber and I love your videos. How do you feel about using a Haga for slow pitch outfield? A 13” model. I’m thinking hard on pulling the trigger after this video. They look amazing!
@@ballgloveking my Haga Mizuno just came in and even though it’s supposed to be 13 inches it feels slightly smaller especially when I put my hand in it. I mean it looks like it could be 13 inches but the hand opening was super tight andI have very large hands. I’m actually going to return it unfortunately so what would be your next best option for the most premium glove I could get that comes in 13”. I thought about customizing a 44 but I wanted to check with you first to see if you thought there was a better option. Right now now I’m rocking my 14 inch a 2000 with super skin and it works pretty great but I would just like to get an even more premium option.
would be great if you could go to a glove maker place and show the process. I got the r9 for like $60 so i took the iweb. i got q different r9 contour model for my 8 year old. its about the max i would spend on an 8 year old glove.
Hey I got a 44 but it’s too big and it’s kind of irritating because I’m trying out for the middle school team and don’t really have a glove should I use my old one or get a new one
Thank you for making the amazing video🔥! from japanese university student🇯🇵‼︎ I believe you are aware that Japan also has a lot of wonderful glove brand! ・Kubota-slugger(AR5) ・WAGYUJB ・SSK(proedge 848) etc…
Im a coach for a HS baseball program and we got custom Akadema torino gloves and honestly i love it. Way better than my 44 pro glove and on par with the Heart of the Hide that my friend gave me. Id recommend if you can get it cheap (around $200)
I know its a long shot and you will never see this, but i am a 15 year old kid that doesn't have that much money and i was wondering if you would maby even sell me a glove for a fair price,im sorry for asking, but it feels dumb not to, i want to play third base or cather, i know dang well i aint affording no catchers mitt.
I have been trying to sell a glove on sideline swap but I can't. Almost 180 peole have seen it and I don't really want to lower the price. How do I sell it. It has been on the website for almost 5 months.
The older gloves were better built. MUCH better built. Hell, even the old Fastback Bulls with the strap and buckle (not Velcro 🤢) were absolute tanks. It is now being used by the 3rd of my sons for little league, and is still solid, after over a decade of little league play.
There is no chance your seeing this ball glove king but if you are can I have the marrucci blonde and white glove it's in 7 min and 17 sec because I'm in a desperate need for a glove and my baseball season starts in 4 months
@@ballglovekingI'm looking at a youth 11" Marucci Caddo around the $70 range for my 10 year old. He is long overdue and has been using his 10" plastic glove since t-ball as a 5 year old... Would you still steer me away from Marucci, or is there a better deal/quality at that price point? He has smaller hands, and loves playing infield on second and ss (though he makes good connecting plays in outfield, when the ball comes out that far, but not his fav position). I followed your link to Just Gloves for that Wilson A1000 and it was discontinued, at least in that color scheme, but the other ones do look a bit different. Still steep for this mom... Plus, like you said, being able to close it better to be a better player, as opposed to not being able to close it that well. Love all your videos and break-ins!
You should give Bradley some attention. My son has everything from Bradley, to Nokona edge x, Wilson a2k, and Bradley is still the best out of the lot as far as fit, shape, and quality are concerned. @bradleybaseball
