This rebuild was undertaken Mid 2020 and finished at the beginning of 2021. Took alot of hard work and persistence but evenually it paid off. Enjoy the the video!
I done such a job on a very similar boat, the main difference, it was an I / O drive. total of 11 sheets of plywood, 20 gallons of resin and 4 gallons primer, paint involved you done a veriy good job on that boat.
Great rebuild! Did you manage to find any sites listing the original specs of this boat? It’s been hard to research. I’m currently considering a project one just the same as yours with a 150hp engine in Vic. Needs the floor done at least. How confident does yours feel offshore and in swell and chop and wind? This would be for an offshore boat. Cheers
Shaba...interesting...I named one of our new kittens Sheba 3 years ago and later noticed it was a He so changed his name to Shaba. I thought it was a word I made up so I'm surprised to see it on your boat. How did you come to name your boat that? Never mind, I just googled it. It's a word in several languages. I assume you are using the definition Early Morning Breeze?
@@bartekwus1 I have a 50hp on my 16' boat and it does about the same for speed, but that's maxed out and it uses a lot of gas at full throttle. But then, my boat is only rated for a 60hp max, so I can't really get any bigger on the motor. By the way, what length is that boat?
