Thanks for the bookshelf. Many of these I'm familiar with but some are new, so I have something to look up. Eventually, when I get rid of my old books many other books you have I'll be adding to my definitive collection. Need a few essential works on essential topics for reference/review.

You bring palpability to the notion, you are what you read. The collection on display here, which is just a small fraction of what you actually read, is undoubtedly impressive and quite frankly, intimidating and it really begs the question, who are you making these videos for anyways, since the general public is not going to have same level of intellectual acumen, interest, curiosity or pedagogic background as you surely do, let alone speak the same language in an intelligible way without coming across as idiotic or snubbish for that matter. Yeah, my non physical book collection is definitely bigger than my physical book collection for...uh...reasons. It's always way easier though for me to read something in physical form rather than digital (except for like articles and such).

Confessions was the book that converted me to Christianity initially then I unfortunately started going to a Calvinist church with no idea of the theological distinctions and distinctions of praxis between denominations 😂

Have you ever spent time engaging with classical theism in its pagan modes--i.e. the writings of Plato; Plotinus; Proclus etc. and/or contemporary defenders of this tradition like Eric Perl and Lloyd Gerson? (OFC. Boethius and Augustine are also representatives of this tradition in a Christian mode. )

Leaving some recommendations for later... - Steinhart's 'More Precisely: the maths you need to do philosophy' - Kane's Introduction to Free Will (or maybe the Routledge introduction) I would get Pruss' infinity causation and paradox, but that's more expensive that your mother - The puzzle of existence. Also... Joe, you should read Barnes' and Lewis' 'A Fortunate Universe.' It is an intermediate level case for fine-tuning that goes over many different examples in a nicely visualised manner.
