I'm just about to begin designing a brand identity for my first client, and it was so helpful to see your whole process🙌 the type manipulation was so satisfying too, you must have a lot of patience!🙏😂
The brand design is AMAZING, everything's perfect, the only thing that caught my attention is the tube mockup that really compressed the logo, the text and overall the whole design. Just a small constructive criticism, but you did great regardless 💕😁
Brilliant design and great video presentation on how to display it. Just curious - how long did it take you in real time to come up with the logo, design it, and create all of the branding elements?
Thanks so much! Well, it really depends on the project. Client work takes longer due to the strategy side of things. However, I filmed this RU-vid video over 2 days.
In terms of detail… less is more! I also create a simple brand mark version of their logo for each of my clients so they can use that on small screens (such as profile pictures etc..)
I have a question, do you have to give packaging designs as well in branding design? And what format does a branding design is usually delivered in? I am still learning so I had this beginner questions. Btw this video was one of my fav, as if the logo wasn't impressive enough, you made those mock products, I was blown away!! I am like going to watch other videos of yours now!!!
Oh my god that will be a saving grace for me. I can't explain how hard it is to search that anywhere, You are the best trust me 😭 I can't put it in words, I will be following closely mentor 🥺💪🏻 Again thank youuuu so much ✨✨
That's was really cool! Just had a doubt, the primary logo was the horizontal one and secondary logo was SB, what about that square type logo? Can you please say
It is just a compact version of the logo. It’s best used for smaller spaces (where the horizontal logo won’t fit) 😃 hope this help! Thanks for watching
Great question! 😃 When presenting work to clients, no. But on the final files, yes! So if there are any print designs (specifically packaging) then I will add measurements to the final design files. The client can then take that file to the printers and they will be able to print it correctly.
Can the client use your photography approach that you provided or they was just for reference? Im very confused since photographics have copyrights license
Good question! It depends on the agreement I have with the client. I prefer to use copyright free images for my client presentations so if they would like to use the image, there is no license needed. If client would like me to source paid images (stock photos), then the client pays for those images/pays the usage license. I hope this helps!
I also have a subscription to a paid stock site so I can use those images in my presentations too. If client would like to use the image, I have the license for them
Procreate is a raster based software (made using pixels) and Illustrator is a vector software (made using lines and points). It just depends on the type of work you are doing. I will make a video explaining the difference between raster and vector and which is used for what :)
how should we deliver the pattern file to the client, should we just export an artboard with a pattern in different formats or export the swatches file?
@@HanSelah Ma'am can you me your experience like how many year it took you to master or fully able to understand what Adobe illustrator like any suggestions or tips to master it?
