Sit back and enjoy as we count down our collection of the very best moments in Test cricket to happen on Australian soil in the past 20 years. Read more HERE: cricketa.us/20Moments-1
Brad Haddin, being recalled back to the team for Ashes 2013 and scoring runs whenever the team was in need, with his daughter being seriously ill is my favourite Aussie moment. Haddin ended with 50+ in 6 out 8 innings and it is one of the most underrated and forgotten Ashes performances.
Haddin deserved the Player of Series imo. Australia were struggling in the 1st innings each time he came into bat. Without him they would have surely lost the series, even with Johnson's performance
Kumble came to bowl with a fractured jaw and got a wicket of Lara. Just because Smith belongs to a non Asian country, he gets all the credit for doing what he did.
@@shrivatsankrishnan No one undermined Kumble's effort. You can ask BCCI to post that video. Oh! They can't do that as it happened in WI. This video is about moments in Australia
@@manojsridharan42 but England's one series win was undoubtedly the best ever performance by a visiting side in Australia, winning three matches that too by an innings
@revking people always saying Rsa won series in Australia and not mentioning Australia record in Rsa they have won 4 test series in Rsa from 2000 and 1 drawn series in 2011 and lost only one that controversial test series 2018. Even Australia whitewashed Rsa in their home which is best achievement for any team.
Yeah....but no opposition team won when both McGrath and Warne played. The only time Australia were challenged at home with both Warne and McGrath playing, was by New Zealand in 2001-2002. With all due respect:SA started winning only after Warne and McGrath retired. India scored tons of cheap runs against Bracken, Bichel, Katich and Willams in 2003-04 on some unbelievablably flat wickets, and got an even cheaper win in 2018-19 against a joke batting lineup. England did win 3 tests in the 2010-11 Ashes...but have been annihilated in just about every other series. New Zealand defended a low target in 2011, after which india got walloped 4-0. In all, the no.1 event was the retirement of Warne and McGrath. They made Australia invincible, even more so down under.
I honestly think “Amazing Adelaide” is completely underrated. Being already behind and needing 9 wickets plus having to then make the runs. I would say makes it the best comeback in a test match I’ve ever seen. Maybe it affects people’s view of it because the Aussies did it so easily in the end, but they were SO far behind in that game it just makes it all the more incredible.
Alister Cook got bowled by two of the best balls from two fast bowlers in the same series. I was at the SCG the day Steve Waugh got his last ball century. Grown men were still in tears half an hour after play finished, chanting his name.
5-0 in 2014 moments Bailey 28 runs an over of Anderson Ponting final outing Warner epic in Perth nd Hobart Pink ball test Starc 160 mph ball Would be nice if there is top 30 moments
Should have been a Smith moment, where he buried the England in hole in 2017 Ashes, and Ponting should have been there in the video, There are lot of ponting moments.
Phenomenal energy throughout at the dressing room.... AUSSIE'S are AUSSIE'S.... No bloke is a second rated or next to great players....all were equally legends......
@Het Modi yes everything is match fixing IPL PSL BBL T10 we r match fixing MODI AND CONGRESS r match fixing last but not least pakistanis are the masters of it.
I remember the Steve Waugh highlight well. The news was delayed and I think the whole of Australia was watching this. It was such an event and everyone was just crossing their fingers for Steve to get his ton
Commentary on siddle’s hattrick is jst another level..miss this type of commentary in now days cricket..i dnt have words to explain wht the passion and dedication in this commentary
Ponting's match winning 100s in both innings of his 100th test vs SA 2005-06 at the SCG? The second 100 was a not out 4th innings 100 while chasing, very rare!
@@NitishRickyFan14 Wait...wasn't he the man of the match in the Amazing Adelaide test? And the first one at the Gabba? He was man of the series in the 2006-07 Ashes wasn't he? But they're right, why bother?
@@abhinavrijal4191 You took words off of my mouth man. There hasn't been a bigger match winner than Ricky Ponting for Australia yet they failed to acknowledge his contributions to make Australia what it is now as a cricketing nation. It really puts me off. Also they could have included his 40th Test hundred that was his first in the format in 2 years for a nice emotional touch. So much for your biggest match winner. Say no more. I feel the Hobart win against Pakistan deserved a mention too for Gilly-JL heroics.
Definitely you have changed the way of mine how I've been in office ...! Which is very poor ...! Thanks for teaching me certain things whether you helped me or intentionally or you expect me to destroy.
