What a machine, pilot and flying scenery. Thanks for putting this stunning footage out. Not many people realize how hard this type of flying around rock, scrapping over trees is- a master video on how to fly a paraglider! #advanceparagliders

I've landed a few times in the little field in Brig that Chrigl scorned in favour of the parking lot (that admittedly saved 50 steps!). What a legend in our little fly community. Have so enjoyed watching him in this comp yet again. So much respect.

How can you have trust in those thin ropes of the glider? What are they made of and what is the maximum load capacity of a glider?

They are usually tested up to 8 times the maximum allowed weight. You'll pass out long before you manage to break it

Ja........; die Landefelder....; mit Betonung auf "Feld"....... :-(....... // jedem GS-Lehrer stehen die Haare zu Berge beim Gedanken, dass seine Schüler evtl. auch dieses Video anschauen....... :-(.... // Aber was willst Du machen ?....... Die Fähigkeiten dieser Typen sind echt gut um nicht zu sagen fantastisch....// aber es gibt auch ein Sprichwort das heisst: "der Krug geht zum Brunnen bis er bricht"..... // mir kommt da gerade der Ueli Gegenschatz wieder in den Sinn...... :-( // ich hab mir auch schon mehrmals die beinahe 7h-Flug-Reportage vom Zermatt ins Bündnerische angeschaut.... + die Art wie die beiden Maurer-Brüder die Thermik finden + ausdrehen können ist einfach genial // MFG
